Finished painting about a month ago and have been accumulating road miles as I go. I have some pics to share with how it looked when I first purchased it. And of course the transmission mount to frame was broken. Bolts were loose but there. Replaced with original. Rides really smooth.20240626_145421.jpg 20240626_213319.jpg

Oh yes I did it myself. A little rough with just one person doing everything I'll must admit but got it done and took my time. Used factory color base 202 black and speedokote high solids clear. Took most of the things I could off and sprayed it separately. But I'm satisfied with it. About 400.00 in materials. The labor is where you really save.

Beautiful job. Looks really good. I'd kill to have a booth to spray in. I do my tractors out in the driveway and half my stone is tinted red.

Just a semester of paint and body class at local vo tech school. Sanding and prep is most important and the hardest. Painting is the easy part but of course no one wants to sand. Lol thank you

Lol thank you. I water the floor down pretty good but I've got some mid priced spray guns that work really well that transfer the paint/clear to the panel. I use the black widow 2.0 for the clear and the R500 for base. I have a few Iwatas and they really atomize the paint and clear.
