    2019 Tundra 1794 Edition
I am gonna be moving back to Cali. I am going back to the Bay Area. I have 2019 Tundra 1794 edition. I bought it used with a trifold tonneau cover, AMP Research Running Boards, 20 in. Fuel Wheels, Falken Wildpeak 295/60R20, dual TRD exhaust and a 2.5 in. level kit. I changed the suspension to a Bilstein 8112 & 8100 coilovers, Icon tubular UCAs, Icon leaf spring expansion pack. I used to have '21 Tundra TRD Pro Lunar Rock, but I made the dumbest decision of my life and traded it in for a 22 JLU Wrangler Willys. The Wrangler is my wife's car, so I made the decision for her because the Jeep Wrangler was her dream car. I also built it up 35s and 2.5 in spacer lift. Thus, I wanted to build my 1794 Tundra like my old TRD Pro.
Hey guys! I just bought and installed the 13.3 inch Dasaita head unit for my 2019 Tundra 1794 with JBL. However, the steering controls and truck's sound system aren't working. The sound is coming from the head unit. I didn't connect the ground from the head unit because I am not sure where it goes. I am also having a hard time to connect Apple Carplay to it because the icons in the user manual aren't the same in the 13.3 hu. In one of the pics below, one of the plugs doesn't have anything to connect to from the truck's connections, so I left it alone. The reverse camera works in the Dasaita head unit. Also, is there a way to use the truck's mic instead of the Dasaita's hu? Can someone help me out?

I got it to work now. I just had to go to settings and change the canbus setup on my HU. For the 13.3, it is somewhat different from the others.

I bought mine straight from dasaita's website.
    https://www.dasaita.com/products/da...920-1080-dsp-ahd-radio?variant=42249555214554
Depending on what year your Tundra is, make sure you get click on which canbus and dash kit you need.
It took about a week for my stuff to arrive. The install is a little complicated, but I was able to communicate with the tech from the Dasaita's chatroom on their website.
To get your steering controls to work. I have a 2019 Tundra 1794 edition with JBL.
Settings>Car>Factory Settings>password is 126>Canbus>08 Toyota Camry&RAV4(Simple)>APPLY>EXIT>it should reboot the HU.

I followed this pic for my 13.3 head unit. The pic is a little different from the fact that that thw HDMI input isn't on the top. It is beside the other inputs. I will send a pic once I open up the dash again to connect the ground and have the right connector for thw OEM GPS.
You don't need to plug in the other connections like the red, white, yellow, blue, white, green RCA plugs unless you are gonna add more mods like a front cam.
