Dobinsons rear coils, which ones to match Westcott front lift?

22 Pro, I did the Westcott lift.
I've got the smallest amount of rear sag (1/8") when empty, and I carry things in the bed regularly which just adds to it.
Thinking to replace my stock springs w/ spacer with some Dobinsons springs.
    There's two different options listed;

C56-167 - Said to match a truck with "2.5in lift"
    C56-169 - 2.0in lift

I'm a little confused by this. The Westcott lift is a 3/1, 2.5/1 for Pros.
So lets call the Westcott a 3" lift. Am I still going to sag, even with the 169's?

Has anybody done Dobinson coils? Which option did you go with and what kind of lift did you get?
I'd like just a little bit of rake.

You have the 1” spacer in the rear and you sage 1/8”? Change the rear spring out for a 2” lift spring should do it, look through the mega lift thread.

I went with the Dobinson C59-223V coils which they say suit a 2 inch lift. I've got a 2.5" lift in the front but from what I can tell there is still a slight rake. I also like these because they're variable rate springs so not as stiff if you don't have any added weight in the bed.

I saw those but I couldn’t find lift info for them. Being progressive would be a huge plus, but I don’t know that they’ll be tall enough. My truck is definitely sitting taller than yours in the front.

Yea. Westcott doesn’t understand it either… they said it would be due to my alignment but it’s aligned exactly within spec to Westcotts recommendation…

That truck definitely sits lower in the front than mine, unless those are 37’s. The Westcott rides like shit anyways, I need to just do kings and get it over with… just putting it off I suppose.

Was planning to redo the rear first with Dobinsons, Kings and Air Lifter bags (which should be interesting to make work with the extended travel). I tow a lot, but I’m also in the woods for work atleast once a week and would prefer not to be beat to death when I’m unloaded. There’s no perfect setup, but I definitely need to get rid of the squat when unloaded/barely loaded.

If you go here, https://www.dobinsonsdirect.com/pro...-1990-1997-2-0-with-up-to-220lbs-loadc59-223v, it says 2022 Tundra on 2.0" lift with stock load. Some websites say they give 45mm of lift which comes out to about 1.8". Not sure if that helps.

Ah no worries. I think they were added as compatible with the new Tundra only a few months ago.

Did you end up using the 2inch spring in the rear . Getting a Westcott for my Trd pro and was thinking of getting a rear spring instead of a spacer . Do you know if we will need longer rear shocks ?

Hi, Has anyone used a 1 inch dobinson spring in the rear, specifically C59-835V, I habe a 3 inch front lift and 2 inch in the rear currently, but it looks like it has too much rake

Any update on this? Did you replace the rear coil spring?

Is this your truck? That Mega thread is a ton on info. Wouldn’t you have to preload the king coilover in order to get that much lift? Concerned that would have an effect on ride quality like the Westcott kit. Thanks.

That’s not my truck but I have 2866 rear springs like that one pictured. I don’t remember posting that, what are you looking for?

How do you like the springs? How much lift did they give the truck? What other suspension mods did you have to do to accommodate? Thanks for the help.

I bought those for the price and availability. They lifted 1” and tires added 1” 295/70/18, I was parked beside a 24 limited at work and my truck was quite a bit taller then stock. I would like to add the panhard bar, AFE rear sway bar and the TRD pro front sway bar with links. The parts I did get are: Elka 2.0 front coilovers, eibach springs and TRD 3” lift UCA set to 2.75” lift. Rear dobinsons IMS 2.6 with OME 2866 springs, extended brake lines and icon bump stops front/back. I think it’s a great setup for 5k cnd and I’ve used it as a daily driver for a year and a half like that with no issues. I have a post in this thread with all the pictures, here’s a recent one of the truck it sits level.

I have the Westcott front end lift with the grey TRD Bilstein's all around. I went with a 2" Dobinson rear spring for a little rake due to towing. Truck rides fantastic, almost stock feel, and Dobinson springs are progressive, so it stays riding nice even with the trailer hooked up. With the 35" Falkens, I gained about 4 inches in height all the way around.

Can you share a pic? What else did you add with that much lift in the rear? Thanks for the help.

Pic of my rid is my avatar, right after it got done. Nothing else in the rear except the Dobison spring. Obviously part of the height gained came from the 35" tires installed after the spring install.

Which weight load rating did you get for the dobinsons rear spring?

I got the one closest to stock since I’m not carrying weight in my bed full time. I believe they said it rated 0-220 lbs.
