    Hey y’all.

I recently painted a full size spare XSP (BBS) wheel I’ve had sitting around for a few years and got it painted hoping to replace the 18 year old original spare under my truck. I bought a new tire and got it mounted a couple days ago.

I can’t possibly get the holding bracket through the bore of the rim in order to lift it up.

Am I fucking stupid? I rolled around in my driveway for 30 minutes trying to make it work, but it just won’t.

Any and all help is much appreciated!

Gotta a picture of the BBS bore? Fits on the Tundra obviously right. Are all the chain links loose enough/not seized up so you can easily move the bracket around.

I just remember having to make the bracket vertical to slip through the bore hole and the bracket only worked with the wheel face towards the truck bed to hold properly on my aftermarket Blake Rhino wheel.
