Finally got the truck back from the shop. Got the front driver, passenger and windshield tinted. Blacked out the center section of the hood in matte. Removed the factory black on the pillars and had XPel applied to the roof and pillars, looks like a big Tacoma now. I think it now needs the hood vents to replace the iForce iMax badges.

The film used is called Xpel Ultimate Plus Black, in my opinion one of the best protective film available, it carries a 10-year warranty. For the blackout it was $1,500 and the window tint was 500. That's with a real decent discount from my friend that works at the shop where it was done.

Looks good! I recommend getting the sunroof tinted as well. I had all my windows done and still noticed a lot of heat coming in. Once I got the sunroof tinted it was a huge difference. Well worth the money!

Yup definitely get the sun roof tinted. I did full ceramic around except for windshield. You can feel the heat coming down from the sunroof, once the ceramic was installed on top you don’t feel anything at all.

Saw a red Ram and a white F150 with black roofs and they looked good. I have a grey metallic cap on mine as the black one was damaged when I went to pick it up so Wrapping seems a good idea for the cap and roof.
Don't want a white cap as it makes it looks like a plumbers truck.
Do you know how much material that you needed?

I did not do the work, had it done at friends shop. If your thinking about doing it yourself just measure the surface area you want to cover and add 6" all the way around. It may seem like a simple thing to do but it gets tricky around the door frames and recessed curves. It requires heating with a heat gun in areas to help stretch the material. Mine's not 100% perfect, there are some areas like the door frames that you can tell it's a wrap and not painted. I'll go back to the shop in a week or so and have them touch up some areas that still have very tiny bubbles in them. I believe they use a syringe to pierce the bubble to release the liquid/air under the film. I'm told that it may take a week or so of hot weather for the bubbles to actually evaporate and disappear.

That looks wicked good. I would like to do the same to mine, only problem is mine is black so it wouldn’t pop like yours.
