Just got back from a 2 weeks trip in Marocco and Tunisia. And man there were so many Toyota Land Cruisers riding the dunes of Sahara. We rented one for few days and we had a blast. I can't describe you what is to like to drive these Toyotas though the desert and through the sand on 4X4. It was just simply awesome. And one of the picture is where Star Wars was filmed in south of Tunisia :)

There are lots of cool Toyotas available internationally that I wish we got here in the USA. That said, some Americans and Europeans choose Tacomas and - less frequently - Tundras to ship over to the old world because of the parts commonality they share with Hiluxes and Land Cruisers.

    Examples:

Here’s a video about a Tacoma that has gone all around North Africa.

Here’s a couple that have driven a Tacoma across Europe and Africa.

I for one would love to do something like this someday!

The second picture looks like a set out of Star Wars. Pretty cool.
