Can someone square me up here, I have wireless CarPlay with iPhone already.

Can I buy one of these boxes that is WIRELESS - AND - gives me Netflix, YouTube, Prime etc?

I’ve seen Ottocast and Binize but wasn’t sure what / how all this works.

Do you have to have WIFI enabled in truck?

it changes or rather replaces the factory screen view I’m accustomed to, yes?

I bought this on Amazon Prime day, was on sale for $200. Ironically after looking it up to add the link here I see it is down to around $165. I bought it again and will return the $200 one when the second one arrives. I have not used it short of connecting it to the truck and signing into netflix. It does require me to use my phone's hotspot to work. I assume that if I still had the AT&T trial from when I bought the truck I'd be able to use that hotspot instead.

Nice! Looks like it’s $250 for me - that work with iPhone?

I'm not sure about iphone, I'd email them to double check, they have many different versions. I wrote them to make sure I was getting the correct one since there's so many versions. Weird that the price shows 250 for you, my side shows $60 off coupon and promo code taking more off. Now that I refresh the page the promo code is gone but the 60 off is still there. When you write them ask if they have a promo code, can't hurt.

I personally use the Carlinkit one, and it's been great. I use my phone as a hotspot, but also has a microsd slot so you can add movies to it without the need to stream. Not sure if it's the same with other boxes, but with the Carlinkit you have to be very careful not to update Netflix. They have their "special" version, and if you update the app then it will no longer work. So auto updates to apps is a no-go.
