    Hey all,

Moved from Arizona to Denver recently and I am sad to say I have to say goodbye to my truck. It has been with me for 5 years (bought it at ~135k mi, now at ~180k miles) and has been great to me, but I just need to get something with 4wd as I plan to spend a lot of time in the snow now.

    Configuration:
    • 2006
    • Limited (heated front seats, leather, power full sliding rear window, power adjustable mirrors, etc.)
    • 4.7 V8
    • RWD with limited slip differential
    • Double cab (4 full doors)
    • Color matching camper shell with locking rear window and sliding side windows
    Other key things to notes:
    • I just installed inner and outer tie rods, as well as new lower ball joints (using OEM LBJs purchased from Olathe Toyota) in April.
    • Timing belt is about due. I bought the aisin water pump and timing belt kit for it just before I moved to Denver, thinking that I would own the truck for a while longer, but that just changed because I moved here. Have not decided if I'm going to install it or sell it with the kit included as part of the sale.
    • No rust. See pics of frame in my reply below.
    • There are cosmetic blemishes:
      • The mesquite gave me some Arizona pinstripes on the sides
      • There are a few small dents, and there is a spot under the back left taillight that's dented in where some paint flaked off. I painted that spot with some rust stopper so water would not cause any further paint damage. You can see it in the pictures if you zoom in.
    Modifications:
    • Bilstein 5100s in the front, leveled. Truck has basically no rake.
    • Aftermarket wheels so I could put bigger tires on (comes with a matching size spare that I bought). Still have the OEM wheels as well and can include them in the sale.
    • Tires: BFG KO2s in 285/70/r17 size.
    • Camper shell with bedliner rug - great for sleeping in on camping trips, or just keeping your cargo safe.
    • I built a custom high clearance steel front bumper. I have the OEM bumper in my garage and could reinstall it if desired. The steel bumper is bolt-on.
      • On the steel bumper I mounted a light bar and some KC lights. Installing these required some cutting away from the grille plastic.
      • To run these lights, I ran a couple wires thru the firewall and hooked them up to 2 switches I installed below the center console.
    • I cut away some air-dam plastic to make more clearance for the tires when off-roading.
    • Removed the fog lights - they weren't helpful to me anyway but I kept them so they can be reinstalled if the OEM bumper is put back on.
    • I made custom steel taillight rock guards, also bolt on and can be removed if desired.
    • The previous owner installed a K&N air intake with a reusable engine air filter.
    • I installed a backup camera.
I'm an aerospace engineer and like to do metalwork and build all sorts of stuff for fun. I also don't like to get ripped off and as a consequence, I've done probably 80% of the maintenance and repairs myself. I can share more detailed information on the maintenance history through PMs - it's all on an Excel spreadsheet.

    Price: 14k

Lots of pictures in my build thread:

Shoot me a message if interested. I want to see this truck go to a good home, and hopefully to someone who appreciates the features that make this truck great for overlanding, off-roading, and camping. I just completed a 7 day road trip through Nebraska, south Dakota, Wyoming, and Colorado hitting all sorts of national parks and it was great. I throw a sleeping bag and an air mattress in the bed and I'm about 6 foot and pretty comfortable in there.

Would be fun if I had time; too busy with a new job and a new house right now to think about it. Plus there's the significant amount of time during which it would be out of commission in my driveway, and I don't have another vehicle to use to drive to work just yet.

Anyway, here are some pics of the frame to show no rust and the new tie rods and new LBJs.PXL_20240607_014104271.MP.jpg PXL_20240607_014130912.MP.jpg PXL_20240607_014138766.MP.jpg PXL_20240607_014047124.MP.jpg
