Helping the buddy that chauffeured me around to dealerships out. He's doing a vehicle shuffle and needs a ride home afterward. Plus, that'll put the truck over the 500 mile mark and I want to get the break in oil changed, and I noticed a trim issue on the steering column. Taking it back to the dealership I bought it at for that.

Oh, and my buddy is gonna smoke a brisket while I'm there.:hungry:

When I got my Colonoscopy, they continually asked if I was on Ozempic. I asked why everyone keeps asking that*. they said because if fvcks with all kinds of anesthesia

Same when I had my little femoral hernia thing fixed. but they asked about all the other "weight loss" drugs to.

this ozempic thing always reminds of the movie Wall-E.

    * I clearly don't look like someone on Ozempic (or maybe I do!!)

Oh absolutely. At this point, we don’t know, and that’s kind of worrisome on its own. Hari says while he’s worried about what they may find out, it has reduced his risk of heart disease by a substantial margin just from the fact that he has lost over 40 lb on it. Because heart disease runs in his family, he thinks it is worth it at the time.

To be clear, I’m not on it. I’m extremely wary of anything that somebody wants me to take indefinitely. I just see it everywhere.

If it turns out that all it does is trick your brain into thinking you’re satiated (while acting weird with anesthesia), it may be the thing that actually helps severely obese people who otherwise would stay that way due to a lack of willpower.

Interesting stuff. I think it’s quite terrifying how rapidly it has spread and just how many people are on it.

I feel like a marriage counselor between my truck and Bluetooth. It has gone from a simple, bulletproof app to a fucking opinionated POS that I swear has mood swings. I am sure the OEM’s hate how quickly the apps and phones update…they sure as hell cannot respond that quickly.

There’s probably a TSB for my electric parking brake. Resolution is to tell the driver that the button by design may take 0.5-2.9 seconds to recognize it has been pushed. If this procedure is not followed it is authorized to throw a parking brake alert anytime and anywhere. Caressing the steering wheel and talking calmly might help the button feel seen.

Frontier Pro-4X. $25K less than the top of the line Taco and will get you there quicker and go to the same places without turbo's. Hell, my lowly SV does too.:boink:

I'm going to hook up a foot bellows on the floor board, with a hose that goes to my air intake.
if my V8 needs more ponies while towing the trailer home, I'll just engage the cc and pump that shit up the hill.
    I don't need no turbo.

I'm sad. this is the opening that my spider friend had its web. either a bird or wind took it out in the night.
I wanted to get a better pic.
also, I'm surprised at how many pine trees are down here. seems like easily 1/3- 1/2 of all the trees in the whole state are pine.

after spending the day seeing giant insects, I definitely checked my bedding last night.
    twice.
my daughter almost had a nervous breakdown. she has a problem with spiders.
my 2-1/2 yr old granddaughter takes after me. she kept saying, "it's okay mommy, it's just a gwass hoppew".
and yes, after 4 beers, we say it the same way.

Give me a basic mechanical parking brake any day.

For that matter, I'll take a manual tailgate, too.

I'm in the zero gravity chair outside.
    nothing to do until 6pm.
I'm hoping to watch her rebuild.
I'm curious as to how they get the anchor lines from tree to tree.

Here’s a backyard wildlife pic that gave me a double-take a few weeks ago. Hanging from a grape leaf.
