Any of you guys using the amber covers on your oem Rigid lights? On my ‘21 the covers clip on but don’t stay secure. The interior clips on both pairs of light covers always seem to dislodge popping that 1/2 of the cover off of the lamp. Tried flipping them, same result. I was considering a small screw with washer to hold the cover secure, on that interior edge, or maybe some velcro. I don’t want to half-ass it. Thanks all.

    Not sure at this point.
I don’t have those, but when I used the CaliRaised ditch lights, I retrofitted the rigid amber covers to fit the ditch lights. They actually stayed pretty snug.

    Have you tried contacting rigid?

@pvn.beluga no, I have not. Thanks for the suggestion. Can’t imagine they couldn’t do anything, plus I didn’t buy them directly from Rigid. Those inside cover clips are sound, they just pop loose which is strange as it’s a tight fit between the lamp and the black trim piece. Rather than run a screw and washer between the cover and the trim, I’m going to try a strip of black velcro along that inside edge.

Or possibly a piece of rubber tubing of some sort? That may help tighten things up a bit.

I’m thinking of tube shrink wrap if you’ve got any laying around.

It's not a matter of them being loose. It's weird, they clip right in, seemingly secure, I just cant understand why they back out.

Are the covers temporary or are you trying to go permanent amber?

    More or less permanent.
