Hi, just purchased an Alpine PWE-S8 compact powered subwoofer and will be mounting it under the front passenger seat in my 2nd gen Tundra.

Does anyone know of an inexpensive mounting bracket that I can use to secure the subwoofer?

I'd like to get the bracket that comes with the Alpine PSU-300TND kit, but that kit seems to be discontinued plus the bracket is not sold as a separate item.

    Thanks.

Thanks, just ordered that one. Looks like it should work perfectly.

I forgot to mention, you most likely have a factory amp under the passenger seat that you’ll have to mount to the new amp rack as well. The stock amp is pretty small and looking at the sub you’ve got it doesn’t look huge so it probably won’t be an issue.

Thanks, I'm using a Sony head unit (XAV-9500ES) and I'm using a wiring harness to bypass the factory amp. System sounds awesome (using Alpine speakers) but needs more bass, hence the subwoofer. So, I'll be removing that factory amp.

Ahh nice! I just installed a Sony XAV-9000ES a couple months ago and am loving it! I have a JL8w7 in a box I made that extends the center console, can never have enough bass!

Very nice. I made this bypass harness to use with my Sony:

    Gotta love this forum!

Oh, be sure to update the firmware on your Sony... v2.00.1 was released earlier this month.

I installed the Sounds Good Stereo Custom Made Amplifier Rack/Plate/Board under my front passenger seat, the Alpine PWE-S8 was a PERFECT FIT using that mounting board. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice!!! Glad to see it worked out! I should’ve asked before you installed it for rough dimensions since their website doesn’t list them. I’m helping another user with replacing the stock amp with a 5 channel and an LC7i, and he’s going to use the same amp rack and the amps i suggested should fit based on my under seat measurements but might be snug.
