I have 141k on my SR5 2021. And my seat cushion is not as firm as it used to be. Especially the left bottom side from me sliding in and out.

Looks like my truck. Cloth seats are fine but they do seem to stain easily. I changed out my cloth for Katzin leather because I like how easy they are to clean. Get yourself a proper set of running boards. They will save the edge of the seat from collapsing from sliding your butt out of the seat.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the Limited and SR5 seats are basically the same, but with a different cover. Leather or cloth, they are basically the same thing. You don't get an upgrade in comfort without going up to a Platinum, as its a different seat with an adjustable thigh bolster. As a bonus, the platinum gets ventilated seats, but there is some disagreement on whether or not it works well.

That's what kills the side of the seat. I installed a wide running board to force myself to use the board when getting out and also has the benefit of protecting the side of the truck from rock chips.

I have recovered a few at work and my own non platinum and the seat looks the same to me.
When I installed my leather covers the seat felt different but that was because Katzin uses a thin foam backer on the inside.

Perhaps it's just the adjustable thigh bolster that has people saying the platinum is more comfortable? Maybe there is a specific model year that it could have changed? I don't know as I've not been in a platinum. I'm just going off what I have heard others say on the forum. Generally the Limited and below are regarded as similar, but the Platinum and 1794 are said to be more comfortable.
