M70. They don't have any boost for the M73 as far as I know.

    That's a nice machine there, e36 Z3

8 series are gorgeous. I got it fully functional in late March, just in time for the weather to never be under 90. Makes it hard to enjoy a convertible.

Can I use the orange/red dongle with my TechStream? The shop left it in my glove compartment which is a good thing.

    You can.

*Edit - I should say if it's the Tactrix based device that Magnuson supplied. If they are supplying their newer WiFlash device it will not as this device is not J2534 compatible*

I couldn't decide between the M8 Competition and a S63 AMG. I ended up finding an edition one AMG E63s with extremely low miles. All great cars! PXL_20240316_201611903.NIGHT.jpg

Anyone in here running the gates K081153HD belt? I currently have the K081177HD but now switching to a 75mm pulley the tension seems on the weak side. When I pulled the 77.5mm pulley off it appears to have belt dust around the inside of that pulley.

I couldn't get the 1153 to fit on mine, I ended up going with https://www.aftfasteners.com/poly-banded-v-belt-belt-k-poly-v-0-14-x-116-75in-oc-8-rib-1-pkg/, and that one was hard to get on...lots of cussing and bloody knuckles.

Thanks. Was looking for a tool to keep in truck with a spare belt. After loosing a belt and overheating I don't want to deal with that again.
I also removed the lower lip of the fan shroud, makes it a bit easier for belt tensioner and crank pulley. Hose is still a pain.

well, the gasket things are about gone

Before I attempt to replace the gaskets, I’m gonna see how good this gets

The biggest thing that stood out for me concerning the Lexus 8AR-FTS coils is they were designed for a forced induction engine.

I received the intake spacers from Anderson Engineering. I ordered the aluminum version, and they look pretty good...minor issues like two of the holes aren't anodized, and there are provisions for the gasket "nubs" to stick out that weren't machined all the way on 3 of the cuts, only one was done all the way through. I still need to get the measurements on the Harrop bolts so I can order longer bolts to install the spacers. I already bought the Gates K081196HD belt, so hopefully that works. Other than that, I just need a weekend without triple digit temps...

So this site under the manifold then manifold on top. Interesting these not two gaskets? one on each side?

Gasket on the spacer goes against the head, then the gasket on the blower sits against this. So it is two gaskets, similar to a "normal" TB spacer that only includes the gasket on one side, since the other side gasket is on the blower snout.
