    Question
I got some answers about the towing of my dump trailer, so how about putting a plow on the 2024 tundra. Is it recommended?????

I’ve been plowing snow since 2008 with Tundra’s . The front end cooling setup in the new trucks won’t work with a 7.5 or 8ft plow attached imo . Won’t even talk about the electrical drain on a system that decides when it wants to charge . I won’t be plowing snow with the new Tundras . I ruined my 18 from travelling on the highway with plow attached . Rusted the engine bay like I’ve never seen . The new trucks just won’t handle that , sad truth but there it is . The 18 couldn’t handle it either so boohoo to those that want to jump on 3rd gen Bashwagon ! The engine bay was cleaned every year but there’s no escaping the salt bath :(

There's a thread here on Gen III plowing. Google finds it.

That's the first Tundra to rust away from the top down. Yeah, I would never want that in my engine bay. Yuck.

Wow!! No thanks. I was considering buying a plow for my truck, but now I am thinking maybe I will not.
