Anyone have a Smoked Mesquite truck that they blacked out? I’ve never kept a single piece of chrome on my truck… I know it’s kinda part of the 1794 pkg so I’m on the fence to change anything. But I feel like either color matching all the chrome or blacking it out would look really nice. Saw Rave Offroad has some good options.

Black and brown is typically a fashion faux pas…I’d second the vote for mesquite out…with chrome/machined/grey/gunmetal wheels for some bling

I’d say color matched mustache and door handles and black mirror caps and black out front emblem

I think it would look pretty good as is except for that wing of chrome within the lower part of headlights. Is BHLM a thing on 3rd gens?
I have 2.5 gen mesquite with black wheels and kept chrome bits but my headlights don't have that flashy vampire fang hanging down..

Here ya go. Mine came with the nightshade package. Changed out the black 20s with methods and a bigger sidewall. But no chrome at all. Love the way the truck looks and happy it came with the nightshade package

I have the first generation of that color and I’m very pleased with how it looks blacked out, along with some color matched pieces.

Black door handles, color grille, blacked out bumpers.

I know it is not the same body style, but maybe it will be helpful.

    Chrome, no black.

Really like your wheel/tire setup. Mind sharing more details about it?

Blacked out would look very nice,,, if you went color matched it would look like a big brown log!!:). Blacked out breaks it up nicely. Post pictures when done.

+25 looks like the perfect amount of poke. Tires are load c? How's the ride?

Here is a good side view to give you an idea of the poke. Keep in mind that these wheels are 7.5” width. Most of what I was finding was +18 with a 8.5” wide wheel. I’ve never liked to much poke so these are just about perfect for my liking.

Tires are a load C and ride honestly feels about the same as stock. More sidewall definitely helps to soften it a bit. Plus the open country tires perform so much better than the duellers in wet conditions. Had them on my old Tacoma and they did really good in the little bit of snow we occasionally get in Tennessee.

Thanks! Yea I have yet to see another smoked mesquite around me and have not seen another one with the nightshade package anywhere. Seems to be a rare combo especially with the 6.5’ bed
