Stuck

I went to look at used 2003 sequoia since my silverado was hit by another driver and needed another vehicle .I let the lady hold my money to take test drive and lost all power .opened up hood and noticed battery cables are separated and I reconnected but car now starts but stalls soon after the lady wouldn't answer door or phone I have no paperwork had to be towed .car seemed fine til this . Any suggestion what is the problem

 

Cables separated as in broken? They are probably corroded all the way through.

 

So, you gave a lady some money and drove off to test drive a vehicle that later broke down, had to be towed and now she's not answering your phone calls? That's not suspicious...

 

Congrats on your purchase of a stolen vehicle! Maybe you can get a finders fee to recoup the money you lost.

Are you kidding? You wanted to take a test drive and gave the person all the cash to hold while you did it? Now she is gone? You have no paperwork (bill of sale) and registration?
I agree with KNABORES. Call the police and see if they can give you options.

I've never had anyone ask for $$$ before I test drive their vehicle - I mean I've left mine there - what more could they want as a "deposit"?

Always think positive. Just don't know how this could have a positive outcome....Unless you are the lady with cash in hand. Calling her a lady is a stretch.
