    It is very hard to screw up a vehicle with a g9. Stay away from high speed buffers and stick to orbital polishers and you will be just fine. If you are very worried stop buy a junk yard and grab a painted panel to practice on until you have the confidence to go for it on the tundra.

    I did this trailer the other day with a G9. Should have done high speed but I was working with what I brought with me. IMG_8681.jpg IMG_8685.jpg

    If you multi step a sports car and you want that perfect finish I’d throw a coat of wax addict on with a black pad. Toyota paint ain’t worth all that.

    Yes and you will need at least 4 depending on how much work you have ahead of you. Swap pads every two panels and use one for the hood and grill.

    this is a baseline not a absolute if that makes sense.

    clean your pads good after use and you will get some life out of them.

    Orange pads are my usual finishing pad. If I was using griots boss correction and polish products I would….

    Light correction/heavy polish =blue
    Polish=orange

    This especially. You can also use detail spray between panels on the pads with a brush to keep it from drying out.
    Would recommend you use revitalizer spray (The rag company) when cleaning them out to keep it around longer

    I currently have to park beside a very mature birch tree (at least I'm off the street) and the truck is taking a beating from all of the 'fallout' dropping off that tree. The truck has a Leer Canopy on it and it's taking the brunt of the debris. The tree is on the neighbour's property, and he's a very kind person who has said I can trim it back if I need to (I already have done that) but that's only containing the damage, not stopping it. The tree provides nice shade and privacy and it's home to a nest for a woodpecker family so other than the debris on the Tundra, we like it.

    Am wondering the best product to a) get rid of the existing crap from the birch tree (worried it's damaging the fibreglass canopy and the paint on the Tundra), and b) protect the truck/canopy since this is going to be the long-term parking spot pretty much from this point forward.

    Thanks.

    What compound would you use to polish dirt bike plastics? Previously wet sanded from 320 to 2000 grit.

    Quick question….. I just had the upper front cap area of our RV repainted. How long should I wait before doing a ceramic treatment?

    Usually they say 30days for repainted surfaces. I’m not a hundred percent about the RV

    Ask whoever did the repaint. They will know what they used and its cure time. You want it to be fully cured before you coat it.

    Whoever painted it....ask them. It varies by the type/brand of paint...as well as the process.

    Tornador? I use it a lot for floor mats on client vehicles, and it really helps with getting crap out from between crevices, and lifting all the dirt / hair. I open all doors and push from back to front. Make sure u have an air compressor that can handle it. The pancake ones won’t do jack shit
