Just bought a 2011 4.6 Double Cab with 140k miles. It was used as a work truck for most of its life. Looking for any and all tips on Tundra ownership y'all have gleaned over the years. What are some of the things I should look out for or easy first mods to do to it (fixing the bumper is on the list)?

I'm looking forward to starting my yota ownership journey!

Maintenance. Start there. Make sure the fluids, filters, brakes, belts and hoses are all up to date and in good shape. Make sure the bushings in the suspension are still solid. Then let the mods begin.

Rear mirror dash cam. I added one to my Sienna with Apple / Android auto car play. Cheap on Amazon and you get front and rear cams. Adds nice tech features.

Welcome and first mod would be window tint or simple little things to get you warmed up like changing the antenna to a shorty, maybe changing the radio out( can be done for cheap), stickers are always a win, painting your emblems, diff breather extension… those should be fun to start with. Have fun and enjoy.

Easy install. Just attach to the review mirror and plug into the car charger. You can run the rear camera though the headliner easily if you want to use the rear cam.

Look thru the buy-sell here on the forum. I’ve been on here 3 yrs and I’ve found this forum to have
some of the most helpful generous people anywhere. So if ya need a bumper and valance start there.
Nice truck, you won’t run out of ideas here.

Antenna is a quick thing you could upgrade to make it bit more modern, just did it on mine.
