It’s been a while, but here we go
I had to rebuild my motor at 120,000 miles with the 1900 mag on it. I rebuilt the supercharger at the same time I had 13,000 on the truck when I put the supercharger on so I did pretty good I think. I have a 17 with Camburg long travel bed cage 37,DD Exhaust. Limited slip in the front and then Pozzi pro in the rear with 529s and they built level 10 transmission Pat said it was good for 800.
my bed. Cage is set up to take 1-37” spare. Eagle Jack and I can still carry two dirt bikes, one on each side I had to customize the cage in the bed, but it works good. 30,000 miles on my new motor check engine light went on two weeks ago in the desert still on the highway AAA was there 45 minutes. I couldn’t believe it.It’s at the dealership I have a cracked head on the back right 2 pistons got two rebuilt heads from eBay couldn’t believe it had them in two days. The dealership was stunned, they’re putting it back together Block is OK and I think I need to get ready for the next time because I’m 67 and my foot not getting any lighter ‍♂️ Oh well.
The question I have is well I guess it’s notquestion. It’s just the direction I’m going because my last name is Whipple and going in that direction I know I need to do something about the bottom end, I need to make it Whipple
Proof. I think I’ve decided to go with XAT racing
And have them build a motor for me.
Does anyone have any experience with them and the new Whipple? Anything they can offer me I know I’m on the right track. Just wondering.

    Welcome,

I’ve got a Whipple and have enjoyed it. Makes great power. Xat would be my go to for a built motor as I’m planning on the same route.

So I’m not the only crazy person out there having fun nice to know lol.
So you have a tuned Whipple. I’m down here in California thinking about registering my truck and Montana I have an LLC that way I can just not worry about California Jesus, right?
So you have the Whipple with out there tune you just had somebody else tune it for you? And does the LS 103 throttlebody just bolt up directly to the Whipple?
Your ride looks pretty damn good.

I have the wizard @snivilous tune my rig. The LS is not a direct plug in play. But sniv is also working on that by making larger tb available. Its a ways out but the RCF throttle body is plug and play the only need is an adapter plate which he made me before I went to the LS. Pic attached for that. I’m also running larger fuel pump and injectors etc and more boost via a much smaller pulley. Depends if you’re wanting to go similar route then you’ll need to do the same regarding fuel, intake tube ( larger diameter to accommodate the maf voltage) etc

I also run a Whipple and am 110% happy with it. No beauty picks like Rey, though. Haha. I bought my '13 new and drive it every day. It's loaded with gear, pulls trailers up and down hills, climbs mountains, braves snowstorms and several feet of snow, and get's me home every night. Just installed the Whipple in January so no real long term usage, but I'm at 211k miles and the thing pulls like a freight train but can drive tame as a stock rig when I put my old man shoes on.

Mods aren't crazy but pulleyed down due to the altitude and an intake and RCF throttle body. Love it.

Awesome thanks you guys. Yeah I am doing the motor just because I will probably sell this motor with the Magnuson on it. The Magnus been rebuilt and the motor has new hedge and about 25 or 30,000 on the bottom end someone will score especially if they have a small pair of shoes, lol

I no longer have my truck, but I had a Maggie 1900 and it ran out of power. I had a built motor from XAT, and Andrew did an amazing job. The Whipple is the way to go. I have a 3.0 Whipple on my current truck and it seems like there is no end to the power. I think you will be very happy with the Whipple.

Yes, that’s who I’ve been talking to is Andruw. You seem to be pretty straightforward. Will pick his brain tomorrow and figure out how far I’m going. I’ll keep you in the loop. Thanks again for your support.‍♂️
That’s all it is right? Lol.
