Pretty sure Wile E. doesn't care. He's busy shopping for catapults and dynamite.

Not sure I'd be advertising the manufacture of such an arsenal if I were in Canada.

    Jokes aside, that's freaking cool!

Ended up with some pop top beer cans, havent seen these since AGD stopped doing it.
Its “Pete’s Pils”, in dedication to Peter Lougheed legacy in the creation of Kanaskis country in Alberta, which is a truely amazing place.

And then there was 1. I sold my 2007 SR5 RCLB 2wd last week. I had it on sale on usual Craigslist,
Kijiji and usedvictoria ( used..) depending on what city you are in BC. 4 months, nothing but VIN report scams. Not a single legitimate enquiry from May until Sept. so last Monday I drove it to Vancouver to lend to a friend. I said use it as you need it, maybe you’ll have better luck on FB Marketplace. I’m just not keen on getting into the FB crap.
So Wednesday morning he posts it with about 6-7 pics. That’s at 8:30. By 11:00 hrs got two guys asking, at 11:30 the one guy comes by for test drive. Immediately asks ‘cash or cheque’? Bought it with cash asking price by 4:30!
So FB Marketplace is the new buy-sell. To be honest not sure who was more surprised, me or Scott. He figured it would be at least a few days. I’m just happy. I kept the expensive Coopers I bought for it, swapped onto the 2010. So for about $1750 difference I went from a 2wd 5 speed truck to a 3 yr newer 4wd 6 speed truck and from a 4.7 to a 5.7.
Couldn’t be happier! The guy got a good truck. To be honest it drove smoother than the 4wd but it won’t get me thru another winter. I kept the fancy turn signal/puddle light mirrors I got for $75 on the 2010 too. Crazy!

    43EC9751-AB3D-4ACF-AEE8-A3CF435FAFA2.jpg

    so long!

    4456B923-5E7A-43B2-B8FC-F2AFEAF812EF.jpg

Already got all new brakes in boxes, lowering kit and airbags. New wheels. I’ll build my own side bars. Already have an idea for serious rock slider protection with detachable side steps so the old lady can still get in and out.
Half heartedly looking at an Airstream now. Gross at 4600 lbs. so easy for the 5.7 I expect.

Not to derail, but on the FB thing. I have sold a bunch of stuff. List on both Kijiji & fb marketplace in the last few years. I’d say 3/4 of my sales came from FB. More sales and faster. My 2c

For some reason, after my wife listed the car I was selling on FB, I started getting legitimate interest on Kijiji too, though I ultimately sold it to someone who found the ad on FB.

I like Auto Trader for window shopping stuff I'll never buy because of all the different options it gives you to filter your results.

I think it's because you have to have an account to go on FB, I've been resisting FB but it may be futile, there's just so many crap I don't need on there!

This is our tradition, closing weekend at Bon Echo, this is the first time without the dog (he passed away at ripe age of 17.5yrs) and it was bitter sweet, the Mazinaw always put on a show.

So exactly where is this? You can pm if you'd rather, but that is such a beautiful spot I'd like to find it one day.
    Absolutely gorgeous!

FB, like the Borg - resistance is futile!! I mean who can resist 7of9?!

Oh it's just Bon Echo provincial park.

    https://www.ontarioparks.ca/park/bonecho

I like the area, and I think it's one of the best run provincial park, the comfort stations are always super clean, park rangers patrols and keeping the rowdiness to minimal, you can easily spend a week here and have something to do everyday in the park boundary.

There's also lots of crownland nearby and few nice lakes.

If you like Bon Echo, check out Arrowhead in Huntsville, we prefer it over Bon Echo.

Oh yea, we've been to Arrowhead, we love it as well, my only gripe is everytime we've been there it rains, I love the huge spots.

This year we finally did the Algonquin loop, Silent Lake, Lake St. Peter, Pog Lake, Arrowhead, the goal next summer is the Algoma loop.

I'm from BC and work in Ontario in the smaller northern towns. One year I'm going to for sure bring my rig out so I can finally
get to all these incredible places. An excuse to finally buy a Swift canoe! Impossible to get home in a 24" roller suitcase.

Kap all the way to Pickle Lake and Red Lake. I’ve spent time in North Bay, Geraldton. I like North Bay. I wish Geraldton was nicer, but lots of places to walk. We are doing a LIDAR project of the entire Ontario
for OMNR. I’m one of the pilots. You can follow and see what it’s all about on OMNR site. From what I understand it's the largest single LIDAR project in the world

Hey guys! Just wondering if someone in or near the Durham Region knows of a good alignment shop? The place I'm looking at is Gilmour's Auto in Oshawa but I don't have experience with them yet. Thanks in advance.

Drive to Markham, Noble Performance, they do all my alignments from track car to Tundra, had no issue to align with the 37s, I think I paid $120 and takes 45mins.

    Get a Steam Deck.

My son showed me this wonderful thing, I'm too old to play multiplayer or using phone surface, I sometimes just want to play a bit of video game without having to boot up a system or sit in front of tv.

I love this, and you can play without having going online.

We have a Nintendo Switch and I use the hand held thing all the time. I hated waiting 5 min for the playstation to boot up. Playing borderlands 3 at the moment, gave up on zelda as its too much work for my little brain.
