Use Ravenal SAE 75W in the transfer case.
Front and rear diffs use 75W-85 or 75W-90 full synthetic of your choice. Valvoline is fine.

Depends in the year of his truck. Older transfer cases used 75W-90 gear oil. I think the newer TC came in 2014 or so.

Those ez-fill containers that Valvoline uses are great and refilling the diffs is much quicker and easier than using the hand pumps.

When I financed my used 2008 Tundra 4WD 5.7 with 153,000 miles I took it to the dealership for the Front/Rear Transfer Case this is the following info on my receipt:

    Installed 7590 Gear Oil 16@4.95 = 79.20
    Installed 12157-10010: Gasket, Drain Plug 3@2.68 = 8.04
    Installed 90430 - A0003: Gasket 2@3.08 = 6.16
    Installed 90430 - 24017: Gasket 1@3.40 = 3.40

    All for $149.95

Had more things done cuz I didn't know what the other owner did or didn't do and as of now at 185,000 can hear a thing and the engine gears are running all smooth :)
On top of it they let me inside the bay pointed out everything and showed me the parts so at least to me in this instance I felt like they did care

    Pretty things
I use 75w90 full synthetic in all three for my 2012. Usually go with good ol Mobil 1, but they didn't have any when I last did the transfer case. It currently contains the purple stuff.

Aisin transfer case calls for 75w90

Borg Warner (2014+) wants straight 75w
