Whelp, The Haltech FB page confirmed it. To get the ECU unlocked I have to start from scratch. New tune and everything. I think they can remote tune it though, so it should be OK...

Yup. Shit sucks. It's probably gonna be between $5-800 and almost a full day.

Right. Try and look at the bright. It could be worse in a number of ways. BITD we didn't have the tech to remote anything. Lots of garage-time tinkering and/or trips to shops. It would get old fast when you were antsy, but hanging in there and not giving up always paid off eventually.

My 2nd car was a blown, alcohol-injected '85 Trans Am that had a new product from B&M and not many knew how to work on it to tune it. It was exasperating and expensive AF, but it worked out through trial and error.

Anyone know where I can get 4wd spindles with new wheel bearings? Maybe have gussets installed already?

You can't export the current tune, then wipe it, then reimport the previous tune? What kind of fucking preschool ass shit is that, you can't export the existing configuration?! That's a pretty standard process in ALL embedded devices going back 2-3 decades for fucks sake.

That's really neat. I wonder how susceptible it is to rain/water getting in. Especially if the lid gets beat up by stuff in the bed.

You’ll need an array of lighting around the bed for the stripper pole.

I realized today my Icon coilovers have 38k miles on them roughly. I'll have to make a decision soon. Either rebuild or go with something else. My top pick would be ADS but...$$$ I also feel like a remote resi is overkill for my needs which steers me towards Kings.
