Hello, I’m on my 3rd Toyota tundra and hope to keep this 2021 platinum for a while longer. The question I have is has there been any research in modification into making that V-8 more fuel efficient? The 13 miles per gallon is starting to have an impact with a 32 gallon tank with gas price of 3.49/gallon. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished reading Dr TundraLove or: How I learned to stop worrying and love my mpg.

The main takeaways were: 1) Stock Tire Size 2) Easy Throttle and 3) The payback is in the reliability in that you can drive it so long you would have paid for multiple other vehicles/maintenance issues.

Yeah not much you can do; stock tire size, maybe gears (depending on your factory set), something like a throttle controller (pedal commander/banks etc) would help keep your throttle down and will help mpg retroactively
