Hey guys I had this plugged into this spot but had to take it out because it would randomly pull power throughout the night and I noticed my battery would be dead.
Any idea where to put the add a fuse to power my day light running lights on my aftermarket headlights?

That is constant power at that circuit. I would use a relay off the Ignition circuit - its only On when Ignition is On. An intermediate switch can be added if you want to shut it off at times when ignition is on.

What year is your truck? Some of the fuse locations are different between the model years. I'll have to look but I think my Morimoto’s are plugged into an INJ fuse location. I haven't heard of the power draw issues on the Tundra side but this issue was happening on the 4Runner side when the Morimoto’s first came out for them. It would randomly power the headlights on and then off again.

So double check your MY but on my ’15 the Ignition is #3 under the hood. So wire the relay signal wire to the ignition (it only uses a tiny amount of E to signal the relay to switch on).

Then you continue to use the circuit you are using now for the Full power to the item you have to turn on when the ignition is on (#30 on relay). Just follow the diagram on listing for full wiring locations - pretty EZ. It would also be healthy to use a fuse on your powered devices.

Get a relay like this (hot triggered [#86 on relay] 5 pin relay) - Amazon.com: Cotonlake 5Pin 12V 40/30 Amp Waterproof Relay Switch Harness Set - 12V DC 5-Pin SPDT Automotive Relays 14 AWG Hot Wires(2Pcs) : Automotive

Ignition is on top row - middle - Green with Engine/lightening bolt symbol. That is your Trigger wire (+) to the relay No. 86 connection on relay. Then connect the +power from No. 30 on relay to the device along with a ground. Now it will not turn on by itself. Here is my fuse box - you can see the Ignition trigger and constant hot I used.2015 Fuse Box under hood.jpg
