I have heard they sound great, but they would have the same problem as the JL 10TW3's being high excursion shallow mounts they will contact the back seats in this ground-shaker box because there is no room on a hybrid to go lower. There isn't enough room to run the grille's on the JL, and the woofer cone will contact the back seat. The Hertz look like the same issue but if you are going to try, let me know how it works out. These RF P3S sound pretty good, but definitely don't have as mush deep bass due to the lack of excursion.

The RF P3S sound rating is pretty messed up for a sub. Lowest they'll hit is 40hz vs a regular sub being 20-25. So they'll never hit hard. My local audio shop has the Hertz and they sound insane for there small size so I'm just gonna throw everything in and go and see if i can keep the seats up with them. I'll let you know how it works out.

The Hertz MPS 250 fit with grill on! And box specs are on the dot for them as well. Don't have them hooked up yet we'll do that after work today. But I would definitely seriously consider them if you're not happy with your p3s

Here it is. Just got it all together. Have to tune and clean up wiring. What amp are you running that fit under there? Only thing I can think of was Brazilian so I ran an MD1200.1. Not a gian fan of Taramps since they aren't the cleanest or the most reliable but nothing else came to mind that's solid and Taramps does well above rated. So with impedance rise and Voltage drop I should be pushing them to around 1k RMS. There's barely any room for an amp.

I am hoping i can get the two jl 10tw3-4 with grills to fit in the fox accoustics box as i just ordered it. The fox people said they would fit in my non-hybrid if i opened the sub holes to the 9.6" that they need.im just worried about the grills fitting on the outside....otherwise ill hqve to sell the jl's and buy the hertz.....gonna be running a rd1000/1 and a lc2i pro to pick up the sub inputs.....fingers crossed

Dreamworks NC did a custom JL 13 with built in JL VXi amps and C7s in mine.

It fit like a glove. I wouldn't say we argued, and I absolutely love Dreamworks NC, but it took some persuasion! I think 2 10's or 2 13's would have fit. With the JL c7s, the 13, it is super smooth! I am awaiting anyone who comes out with the in between box like the taco fellows to make it cleaner/smoother!

I’m stricken with the “premium” JBL system and the hybrid and have been trying to figure out my best options for an upgrade.

Budget wise, I’m leaning toward a JL sub of some kind first and possibly upgrading the door speakers and tweeters with some low end JL’s down the road.

Www.ground-shaker.com has some tundra hybrid and non-hybrid options, but I think I’ve seen some say JL subs won’t fit in the cutouts.

I've been searching for days for a box that will fit the Hybrid behind the rear seats. Groundshaker makes a box for 10s but doesnt look like there any room for an amp

If you want amps and sub in the rear, behind the seat...custom. It is what it is.

I really don’t wanna lose too much real estate behind my backseat as I have a hybrid and storage space is at a premium.

I’d really like to use the below Hertz box, it seems very small and hits hard from what the reviews say…..

Does anybody think that this will fit behind the passenger side of a third GEN if I remove the plastic along the back wall , I think it comes out in two pieces… everybody’s design seem to take out the driver side… I feel like if I take out the passenger side I’d have room for the small box along the floor and an amp just above it(small RF 500rms one)

if anybody’s aware of someone who has tried something like this, I’d love to see some pics,
Nothing seems to fit without removing that rear plastic from what I’ve measured

    MPBX-250-S2

edit I’m too old for a really big sound system in my truck So duels triples quad sub set ups I just not for me
