I don't think I've ever seen the bumper and grill together. Everyone that has done the sequoia grill has that gap at the bottom but adding the bumper really dials it in. Looks great!

I think a look at Morimoto Fogs might be an idea. I’m only saying that as I just put their headlights in my truck and many speak highly of the fog lights. I’m planning on replacing my bumper with high clearance so no lights there for me

I'm also going high clearance bumper. Planning on installing diode dynamic pro fogs.

What’s something like look like parts wise?
Bumper, lower grills , fog lights.
will the tundra fender liners and brackets work? Anything specific or one off that wouldn’t make this a bolt on situation? Fog lights plug in without issue?

I'll probably weld it. I'm going to pull the third member tomorrow to get a better look.

I welded the front years ago and had planned to do the back also, but i never got around to it. I guess it's time for it now.

Dang! I’ve heard of that happening but that’s maybe the second one I’ve ever seen on a tundra. Like @j_supra said - time for an upgrade :)

Part of the inline for the rotary girder. Somebody forgot to check the specs… usually happens when somebody granny shifts instead of double clutching like they should have.

Changed out my squeaky tensioner and idler pulley. Bando belt was put on at 110k for the tune up. Only at 145k

Went with the Dayco kit as Dayco is the oem for the tensioner and idler pulley.

My silver dash is looking pretty worn so I had this idea to buy overlays and vinyl wrap them.

    HAPPYHORSE Central Control Gear... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BRXB7H4F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

    HAPPYHORSE Car Dashboard Panel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BS2PP6GZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The overlays fit pretty well, though they're kinda thick so the buttons are a little recessed after install.

My wrapping job went terrible because I'm a terrible wrapper. I finally gave up on wrapping the lower piece.

    IMG_1170.jpg

But I did get the upper pieces wrapped. It looks just ok. I think when the weather is warmer I'll pull them off and paint the original pieces a satin black like some of y'all have.

You're braver than I am for making the attempt. Personally I'd have just used some car interior paint because I'd expect my wrapping skills to be much worse than my painting ability.

    Looks good!

Let us know the durability on those overlays. I’ve been considering getting one to cover the scratches on my painted one.

Got the diff out today. Got better pics of the carrier pin. Ring and pinion look salvagable thankfully. Getting welded up soon.

    20241228_183738.jpg

Wallowed the carrier out a little.

Finished up a couple things related to the awd conversation and afr/boost gauge. Double checked everything tight, installed the afr sensor after booger welding in the bung last week, new exhaust flange gaskets and pinned the transmission thermostat with an extra allen key I had laying around. Luckily everything working as it should, still waiting on a couple terminal pins in order to lock the transfer case and finish that wiring.

Installed some 1.5” wheel spacers to kick these 34.5s on stock OR wheels out a bit.

    IMG_8107.jpg

Unforeseen problem: a wider tire track meant I fought being outside the existing tracks in the snow as we climbed a mountain pass and the snow at the edges of the tracks kept trying to pull the truck to one side or another into the deep stuff, no fun.

I did my whole drive set a little while back. I found the fan mount bracket was also failing. Did you check that also?

Segway - Is that a 2008? I'm a survey pilot so when I see a map that clicks in my brain - I've spent time in Bridgeport at
what could arguably be the noisiest Marriot Residence Inn in America. But I recognized that area somehow, been a few
years. Weird. I drove up that highway along the coast to RI. My last of 50 states to visit. Been to them all now! Anyhow, if that is a 2008 what the heck kind of screen device is that? Freakin' Amazing! Huge!

I just received my RAM phone mount today. I’ll report back after some testing. It’s not hard to make more now that the file is made.

Installed a Rough Country under seat storage unit today, it’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be, and there’s still space behind it for the jack and other stuff. The fitment around the corners looks a little weird, and it makes it so you really have to try to latch the seat back down. Definitely needs some non slip material to put on the bottom of it, but overall I’m pretty pleased with it.

I still haven’t installed my window weather stripping, the first package broke during transit and half the tube got lost along with both front window parts. Still waiting for it to reship

Yeah that app supports Carplay, which is how I would do it. You can also run Android apps directly on the headunit.
