FLASHING Low 4wd and Traction off tundra 2013 crewmax.

Greetings ,
My 4 low , light flashes..engine fault lite and no traction lights suddenly come on, i stop , switch off start again with above faults but truck drives normal, go to spares shop they diagnose pressure control solinoid D , AND random missfires ( i have just replaced 8 coils and have 8 new irridium plugs?)i got the guy to cancel the light and drove almost 1000 miles without hassles, then light s came on again (same diagnoses)took to TOYOTA and they said change gearbox for 11000.........unbelievable, so as they had canceled the light i drove another 600 plus miles then it camer on again........ any suggestions besides FORGET TOYOTA

 

Could try replacing the SLT solenoid on the valve body, thats the psi drive solenoid. What code? P2714, p0761?

Do you get these same three all together at the same time each occurrence?

 

Have you tried looking at your grounding wires from Engine to frame. Are all vacuum hoses hooked up, brake booster? Vacumm leaks can cause misfires or a bad/missing ground. Look at your ABS wiring for a short. Any rodents around? They like to chew on the wires. P2714 is either a bad solenoid, low atf or worn valve body. You can check the operation of the solenoid and its resistance value. To see if its bad.

 

@Rhodie52 read through this thread. I'd address any misfires/vacuum leaks first as they can contribute to other codes.
