Just installed this … 100% clearer and louder obviously….
But when the radio or music is paused I hear static.

gain is about 66% of full , maybe it’s too high?

anyone else have this issue with it ?

Might want to dial it back then. I dont have any noise at idle.

Ive had mine since its release...JBL equipped and really wakes it up

I’ve read the already existing rattles from the interior is also enhanced.

No static or pops and I set the gain at about 75%. Some music does add that as effects (e.g. Portishead) but it's the source not the Amp.
How high are you turning up the volume? I believe the max is 60 but I very rarely go above 45. If you're hearing static I wonder if you have something else being powered that's causing noise.

Yeah I was worried about about this , I used both of the rubber strips and the 2 sided tape …. Hopefully I won’t hear many .

mine doesn’t have all the issues you guys have spoken about , it’s solid.

    What’s wrong with stock?
I’ve had mine for over two years and love the thing. No static just better sound.

I set the HU to a volume I normally listen at and cranked the amp gain...got too loud so I turned it back down some and was happy with the clarity and additional fill I now had at a lower vol level.

Ok I think something is up…

if I turn it down below 25% no static , gets worse as I increase… pulled it out of the dash to see if there was interference from the harness…. No effect.

It also cuts out intermittently above 50

sent beat sonic an email I think either I got a bad unit or the harness is messed up possibley.

I keep mine at 12oclock. My max volume I listen to is 35 - 38. No issues other than the doors rattle a lot worse.
