Anybody have any experience with this setup? They appear fairly new to the market. Drilled and slotted zinc plated rotors, more bite than factory pads, low noise and dust, and it bolts right in to a factory package with OE calipers.. Look like a decent upgrade for about the same price as OE pads and rotors.

AutoZone has a 20% code for ship to home orders right now; the don't offer the pad and rotor package, but separately they come out to be less expensive than the pad and rotor packages.

    Alot of them
Slotted and drilled combo rotors usually result in warping and vibration. I recommend the StopTech Sport Cryo treated rotors.....slotted only.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
I have had both and can say the holes can be felt at moderate to heavier braking - like tiny little bumps in road except you feel it in the pedal.

The slots are fine - they do help when there is a lot of water.

I found Angled rotors which have the fins set at an angle where the rotor when turning scoops air up and into and thru the fins providing (I guess theoretically) more cooling compared to most fins that go straight out from center of the rotor - just a thought in case you find them - are not made a lot.

So I would skip the holes and maybe consider just the slots or nothing at all - unless you are doing a lot of downhill tows with heavy loads s/b fine.

This is something that I do fairly regularly.

Decided to order some for the sequoia. The front pads showed up today...

One of these things is not like the other. On the left - Baer front pads. On the right - Toyota TRD front pads. Hmm...

The rotors in that first photo look like rear rotors also

Ya, the first photo is just a stock photo. Looking on their site, they actually show the correct front pads with the part number. Part number on the box is correct for the front pads. I'll call Baer in the morning, or simply return them through AutoZone and figure something out. Luckily, I'm not in dire need of replacement yet so I've got some time.

AutoZone chat is just the worst... Outsourced to a foreign country, obvious by the phrasing and terminology, but it took me four tries to get a hold of somebody to make something happen, including being disconnect several times by CS. Anyways, they are supposedly sending some replacement pads. The remaining pads and rotors are supposed to show up tomorrow or Friday, so lets hope they are correct. Else this whole kit and caboodle is going back to the parts store.

I've worked on some projs for class 8 brakes with external suppliers. You don't see slotted and drilled rotors, nor curved fins like an impeller to suck up air for added cooling, for a reason. The ideas don't work and those holes/slots just aid in chewing through the friction mat'l. Your best bet is mass to resist fade and getting a pad formulation which ISN'T copper free.
