well squirrels are back... I run a 12 volt mouse block that beeps and blinks 24/7 when the trucks off and it's worked great for 2 years (2 years ago the squirrels got me good had to replace the whole engine harness). Luckily they only chewed through my switch panel positive wire. Should have the fixed by tomorrow. Guess this all happened this afternoon. drove the truck to the gym in the AM and switch panel was working. Hoping it just that one wire and little plastic on the corner.

Gotta figure out something to do to keep these things away. Parked my truck in a different development tonight. I live in an HOA so not sure I can sit there when I work from home and snipe them with a BB gun if I see one. Sent the HOA an email so I guess we'll see what happens. Funny it seems to only happen to my truck. parking lot full of cars and other vehicles yet they just love my engine bay.

Have I mentioned how much I hate squirrels?

As far as I see every other wire in sight looked fine. Truck drove fine tonight, no other lights on dash.

For anyone doing a black grill and all that, those sail panels were about $40 and came unpainted (black)
That might save ya some time and effort. Debating if I wanna black out the grill surround now to match it. Does anyone have a red truck with black grill that I can check out?

Bastages! I had squirrels that got some of my firewall insulation. I got several of them by setting rat traps baited with peanut butter behind the front tires.

So my best buddy got his 8yr old son a 3d printer for Xmas and he's been having a lil fun with it. My buddy tells him to print something for me, a surprise something. Went n visited them and I was really surprised and mind blown at what he printed me. He knows I like lizards and I used to have a couple chameleons so he printed this up for me..
    20250118_130849.jpg
It's crazy because it's like 15 pieces that are all linked together so the whole thing articulates.

It flew off the dash with a hard acceleration today so I picked up a couple small magnets and glued em to its feet and tail so now he's really stuck on the Rago like a gecko should be. I love that it matches my black theme.
    20250119_180111.jpg 20250119_180127.jpg

Oh and I gave his son $20 for it. Hope he sees this as a business opportunity.

This has been on my to-do list but I've had a lot of trouble finding one. Local yards are dumber than a box of rocks, I've even sent them photo's on facebook messenger and email and they still don't know what I'm talking about.

Got new shoes Saturday so I'd be set for a long trip this week.
Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascent in stock size, load range E. I had the Ridge Grapplers last 46K since stock and they were loud and slick in wet weather the last half of their life.
New tires are much quieter, handle better than I remember the Nitto's handle at any point of their life and I was out the door with an alignment under $1300. So far I'm very happy. I was between them and a Michelin set.

It’s like the SABM… but even better

Picked up a Stillen shroud and intake tube from a forum member and did some tinkering to match it up with the stock airbox. Now we have another 3” intake opening straight from behind the grille
