Having trouble tracking down clamps for a ProX15 cover and deck rail system. I found this thread: Help!!! Tonneau troubles w/ 2021 Tundra crewmax trail | Toyota Tundra Forum

and PM'd one of the members but he's not been online in awhile. In that thread, I found this pic:

ProX15, deck rails, trail storage boxes, just like the setup I'm going for. In this picture, can see the clamps have a "nut" that slides into the deck rail. From what I can see, these look identical to the "Tonneaumate Toolbox" clamps, pictured here:

Realtruck is insisting these are not the same clamps, and that they don't sell the ProX15 clamps for deck rail system separately. Probably a long shot but hoping someone with a similar set up can chime in as RealTruck has been less than helpful.

I'm at my wits end with Real Truck, their sales people keep insisting the Tonneaumate clamps are different from the ProX15 deck rail clamps. I realized they have the install instructions PDF on the product page, open it to find this:

Am I crazy or are those not identical to these?

Looks identical to me. Do you have a local shop that does installs? They would probably be your best source for something, or could brainstorm an alternative with the truck on site to make sure everything is compatible. Just an idea, the guys at off road warehouse have been real helpful for me.

Yeah there's a few shops semi-close by I could go to, just figured I'd be able to order the replacements without so much hassle lol. They sent me to a warranty person who asked for the serial number which I provided. I told them that in watching the install video on the product page, albeit for a 2022 vs my 2021, the clamps in the video and instructions look identical to the Tonneaumate toolbox ones, although they come in a 4 pack vs the 6 that come with the cover. This somehow confused them and they said it won't work for a 2023, don't know where that came from beyond me having ordered a 2023 cover for a different truck in the past.

Typical, sounds like you are dealing with one of them "experts" with the wrong idea of what you're trying to accomplish and not listening because they're the expert. Might need to draw a diagram with their favorite crayon.
Stuff like that is why I prefer brick and mortar, it's easier to get in the same page

Yeah I'll see what they say, might have to follow up with a crayon drawing hahaha. I didn't think a simple question of "hey are this and that the same" would devolve into such an ordeal, maybe if I create a side by side spot the differences thing that has the clamps and then other things like a monkey and one picture and a dog in the other, or a star and a moon, they'll feel accomplished and I'll subversively get my answer that the clamps are indeed the same.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting some replacement parts for your tonneau cover. I'm happy to take a closer look at this for you and find out what parts we can get from Truxedo. Feel free to PM me or email me, and we'll get into it.

Dang I didn’t know y’all had a presence on here, I take back all my previous smart ass comments they were meant in good fun, this is customer service at its finest! I was sent a part number via email, Part # 1118477, although I can’t find it on Real Truck to see if it looks correct. I’ll shoot you a p.m. and update/drop a review here when we get it figured out.

No worries- we appreciate your feedback! I hope to get this all cleared up and taken care of for you.

Not all replacement parts are listed on the website, but if it's from one of our manufacturers, we can typically get those ordered.
