Worksport AL3 Pro hard Tonneau

Thought I would post about this cover since there isn’t much out there on the forum.

First, customer service is outstanding, I called several times and someone always picked up and answered my questions. The packaging is really good, I bet FedEx could throw the box off the truck and not damage it.

The install was very easy and this cover is well made. It has a center slam latch (purchased separately) and a tailgate slam latch. So easy to make adjustments. This cover does not fold up against the glass, but can be removed in a minute if needed.

Went through car wash and only had a few drops of water. This cover is very secure and lightweight.

If you are looking for a cover give these guys a call. I’m very happy with the price and quality.

 

I’m thinking about one of these. I’ve had several different hard bed covers and this is what I’m looking for now:
No rails running the length of the bed with drain tubes.
No individual clamps to close the cover, must have slam latches.
If it doesn’t flip up, it must be removable.
The Worksport AL3 is on my list that meet these requirements, but there’s not much info on them out there. At around $700 they are an ok price. Yours is still new, but hopefully it is holding up well.

 

It is holding up great. No issues at all. If you go this route call customer support and request a center slam latch kit, it makes a huge difference. I go though car wash with blowers at least once a week and have no issues.

 

Thanks for the tip on the center slam latches kit. My goal is to minimize water intrusion. My last one was a BAK MX4 and it leaked bad.
