Been "lurking" on here with my 2005 SR5 for a few years but today joined the 2.5 Club.
Found it somewhat "local" and its a Gold Level CPO:)
I was thinking about a Limited but this came along with the motor I wanted (5.7) and only
    3300 miles!
Kinda like my 1st "new" truck:)

    Welcome, also from San Diego.

And also with a 2019. Man, I thought mine was low when I found a CPO with 20K miles, that only has 3300?!

Yeah, the miles matched the condition of the truck as well.
Price was good too but I love that it's got fewer miles than my wife's new 2024 that we got in December!

650 miles a year, 52 weeks in a year, that means it was 12.5 miles round trip when the little ol' lady drove it to church on Sundays.

Wow that's wild, I thought my 2019 was relatively low with 63,000 on her right now. Great truck. Add a transmission cooler and she's good to go.

Very much looking forward to doing a few mods, et on this one. My 1st Tundra was this 2005 I got in 2019.
Put 150k on it and now after hitting 300k total miles I'm ready for the 2.5.
The Gen1 has been an awsome truck, hope 2.5 is as wellIMG_3587.jpg

    Wow, very clean 1st gen!

I do miss my '00, but the '19 does most everything better and easier. The gobs more HP and TQ come in quite handy.

First thing would be adding a tranny cooler as mentioned above and probably a bed cover or cap. I'll probably drive the 05 a bit too as it currently has studded snows on it.
Great for the next month or two:)

Finally was able to run down to Westerly with my plates and pickup the pickup.
They put on a new set of Yokohama Geolandar A/T's as I didn't want 3000 mile tires dated 2018!
Love the ride & comfort. I'll be ok with letting the Gen1 go, but after this winter as my studded snows are mounted on ol faithful.
Remote starter and trans cooler are on my short list of adds, along with a bed cover.
Great having this forum to research all that & then some!IMG_3039 (1).jpg

Nice!! Fluid Film underneath asap, ceramic coat and or paint protection film. Love a black double cab.

Good idea, already did the Fluid film as my 2005 has been lathered up as long as I've owned it.
Plan on doing a ceramic coat when the weather lets me. I'll be driving the Gen1 most of the time as my rural town puts down gobs of the salt/sand mix.
So heavy, sometimes the roads look unpaved!
And thanks! Kids are gone now so I opted for the double & 6'-7" bed over the crew.

That's good to know, I ordered one Monday and it arrived yesterday.
Probably wait until the Gen1 sells to put it on so it doesn't get loaded up with snow & ice:)
Remote start & some running boards next, then miles......
