Found a pair for $117 that plugs in to my wire harness and it has this silver press button that will lock in my existing collar…but it doesn’t have a built in fan….these things supposed to have fans??

Well. You're mix and matching product. It may work but why risk it? What to say it won't cause issue later and you'll have to take your grille off, again, to redo everything?
Watch this vid for some recommendation.

Most will have fan to cool the leds. Some have fins. Even the bigger name brand have fan. Not sure about the one you see for $117 without fan. I'd get rid of everything that is currently in the truck right now and start fresh. Mix and matching unknown products and not a good idea, imo. What's to say the current led box won't overheat your new bulb? Or overdrive the new leds and burnt them out? How are the spec comparable and match up? Too many things to worry about. But, that's just me being paranoid.
Good luck with your search for the right led bulbs. I think we provided enough info on how to remove and install these, you just have to decide what is best for you.

Instead of looking for a set that matches the collar with snap button, just start over. Pull off the rubber boot, and remove the rest of that headlight bulb assembly.
Put in some halogen bulbs that your headlights were designed for, and save some cash for the OEM LED headlamps.
You’re driving yourself nuts looking for cheapo LED bulbs that won’t give you good results.

I want to stay LED cuz my eyes are getting worse at night time.

I’ll buy the OEM LED headlamps immediately…can’t even find them…confused at this whole ordeal what’s what. U have a link for OEM LEDs? Maybe I seen it but I’ve seen hundreds of these friggen things past 2 days. Called local Toyota dealership and that guy was not helpful. Ugh

Dang that’s odd that the Toyota guy didn’t help. Sparks parts will have the lights. Make sure not to get aftermarket knock offs of the OEM lights.
Toyota came out with LED lights for our Tundras in 2018(?). They’re the full assembly and not just bulbs. You’ll need a harness via ihacker on this forum.
They’re the best bang for buck upgrade you can do for lighting.

This is a link for one headlamp. You’ll need both of course. This is what I could find. Someone else on here may have a better deal, I’m unsure.

With headlights and harness you're talking $800 or $900 easily.

Pay no mind to the inaccurate title description
These are the correct part numbers.
Most people get the blacked-out TRD Pro version; it just depends on the color of your truck and what you want.

I agree with others saying just to put halogen bulbs in your headlights and be done with it.
You'd have solved this issue days ago.

I also agree with others that if you insist on LED bulbs, buy a decent kit and REPLACE EVERYTHING ON BOTH SIDES.
You're wasting your time trying to make parts work in assemblies they weren't made for.
A decent kit and collar will give a decent bulb orientation.

Swapping the collars should be the easiest part of this project..

Just something else to think about. There are many people complaining about LED headlights on social media. I suspect the 1s that are causing most complaints are people running LEDs in halogen housings. Britain is talking about banning them. I suspect some states that have safety inspections are also thinking about it. My Profile LEDs have a clean cutoff and I never get flashed. Bulb manufacturers are peddling LED bulbs claiming they work fine in halogen housings. They don't. It is just a ploy to sell bulbs.

I’ve been happy with lasfit they claim they specifically make them for Toyota and they have a decent cutoff and I don’t get flashed at night and they’re much better than the oem halogens and decently priced

Ended up going with these Auxit bulbs. Install was easy and Hi/Low beams are plenty bright. Thanks for the input and keep u posted how long they last.

Did you use the same collars or replace them?

I've you haven't, pull up to a wall or garage door at night and check your levels and patterns.
Make sure they are somewhat even and use your dash level switch to set the cutoff.
