Sold my 2014 Tacoma T/X Baja so I could get one. Once I saw an affordable Quicksand 4X4 available I had to make a move. Making my list for chrome delete and possible leveling. Love this thread. upload_2025-1-14_9-6-3.jpg

Working on the chrome delete, might go with black bumpers instead of color matched though. I have the TSS package which did all the emblems, wish it would have done the grill too.

Joined the Quicksand crew. Just bought my a 1st 2G Tundra from Toyota at Cedar Park, Texas for 33k. It's a 2016 TRD PRO CrewMax. Truck was modified from previous owner with leveling kit on the PRO suspension, 18" Fuel Wheels w/33" Nitto RGs (coming off), SnugTop camper and a few more goodies. Super clean condition with 100k on the clock but all service records. Stoked to move on from the small, cramped cabs of the Tacoma we had. My two young boys will be way happier in the back seat now!

A little update on my 2020 quicksand. As she sits today. Next up is real rock sliders, ditching the nerf bars.

Perfect stance and setup! Can you tell us your suspension, wheels, tires and are those the OEM headlights?

37s! Nice.. I initially thought 35s but wow got 37s to fit is awesome. How bad has the power and MPG hit with those?

I only drive this truck a couple times a month so not my daily. The trip average on the instrumental cluster is telling me anywhere from 7-10 MPG each time I drive it when shutting the engine off. I’m not sure if that would actually be a lower than reality reading considering that my speed is actually higher than what the odometer reads due to the oversized tires, off by 3-4 MPH. I think that would translate to a higher than reported MPG.

If I drove the truck more I might consider it, but it doesn’t really bother me since I only drive it a couple times a month.

Did you install the front fender glass yourself? Are you planning on LT?

No I had a shop do them, I’m gonna be going with a long travel. I got the flares since I had hail damage so I used the insurance money to get the flares and have them painted
Still need to fix the hood
