This is my KIS (keep it simple) build.

Traded vehicles with my Dad in December. Truck has 187k miles with 8 PO’s.

Has some rust on the frame but my Dad previously sprayed it down, but said I need to do it again.

My Dad fixed within the year:
    Transmission Fluid Flush
LBJ L and R: BECK/ARNLEY 1015281 (might need to be replaced sooner then later)
    Radiator - Denso
    Radiator Fluid Flush
    Drive Shaft NEW
    Serpentine Belt Tension-er
    Serpentine Idler Pulley
    Acid Paint Rust Stop
    Rear Wheel Cylinder
    Power Steering Fluid and pump
    Rear Brake Shoes & Drums
Front Disc & Pads - Detroit Axle
    Front R & L LBJ
Monroe Strut R & L - will be replaced with Bilstein 4600’s with OME springs.
Tie Rod End Inner and Outer
    Sway Bar Link
    Front Hub Bearing & Seal
    Front CV Shafts
    Front Upper Ball Joint
    Stablizer Bar Sleeves
    Allignment
    Diff Lube Changes

    Upgrades and repairs:
    Interior LED lights - 12/30/24
    Phone mount on dash
Repaired stock woofers with new foam - 01/20/25
Installed new R&L rear door checks - 12/30/24

    Future upgrades:
Install Bilstein 4600's on all 4

The LBJ's were done in 2023 but they are the BECK/ARNLEY 1015281, I have not heard good things about these. The timming belt was inspected and is in goog condition. I might want to install the LBJ with OEM when I install the new 4600's.
