Good evening all, I was asked by a family friend if I would be able to unlift his 2008 toyota tundra. I told him I would have to look it over and see what kit was on if and just do a general inspection to verify what I will actually need to be replaced. I brought a coworker with me who has knowledge on lift kits and when we pulled up he immediately said that its a Tundra TRD and that its supposed to be lifted like that as that is just the package that is on the truck with the TRD editions. I checked over the suspension and everything looks to be tock and not an aftermarket part. It does have leveling bags in the rear but he said they could possibly be stock with the TRD edition. It looks like a stock ride height for what I would assume a TRD would be. Has anyone lowered a Tundra TRD to be sr5 height instead? The family friend likes the truck just wants it lowered. Thanks all. If anyone has done this and has a parts list that would be great.

If it has one of those bro lifts (anything over 3 inches) it will most likely have a diff bracket welded on, you’ll have to cut that out find a stock diff bracket from a donor frame and weld it on

if it’s a regular suspension or body lift it’s easy to undo
