Box is in, sans accelerator for now. Those 2 bolts weren't too bad.

New tires went on yesterday, I can daily drive it but it will take some work to be able to wheel with them. Old - 39x12.50R17, new - 40x13.50R17.

Mini project to clean up my engine bay and move my passenger fuse block inside, and all but one circuit was going into the cab anyways. Space is limited, but I found a couple M6 captive nuts behind the dash on the right wall above the door wire passthrough. I made a 6.5" tall x 6" wide steel panel for my fuse/ground blocks that will use the captive nuts to mount to the wall.

Fused battery power via 0Ga wire passthrough from the engine bay into a fused distribution block that will have 75Amp 4Ga going to my amp, and a 50Amp 8Ga going to the smaller fuse block. The larger fuse block is powered by a relay powered from the small fuse block and triggered by IGN2.

Swapped out for some new bed rail anchors. The bulky Cali-Raised is heavy duty and nice but when using standard bungee cords or tie down straps the hook cannot grip the handle. Got the new set off from Amazon for decent price, I didn’t want to pay over $100 for some tie down anchors.

I like those, I'll have to look on Amazon to see if I can find them. I agree there are some nice ones out there but for the price and as offen as I would use them don't add up for me.

Correct. I’ve seen some go for $150-200 for a set. This brand on Amazon is by a company called Reno. $46 a set.

Still enjoying the truck. Have to adjust and lower the preload on the passenger side coilover this weekend. Same threads showing but drivers side is 1.25 inches lower from ground to fender. Is what it is. If lowering the preload doesn't work I'll have to add a shim to the top.

Good news is used my ARB compressor to pump up my little nephews basketball while shooting hoops in the driveway. Worth the price just for little things like that.

Doing my first coolant flush n fill right now on my '18 with 39K. Bought it used at 23K so doubt it was ever done. 7years with the factory coolant, seems like it's definitely time.

These are much more affordable, wondering about the build quality and material compared to Cali Raised or Charvonia option.

I found their bed side anchors: https://www.amazon.com/RENO-Tie-Down-Anchors-66312-0C010/dp/B0DK89YSLZ

as well as the bed rail anchors above: https://www.amazon.com/RENO-Tie-Down-Anchors-PT785-35050-S1/dp/B0DK88S1BB

I ordered both, I am frequently having little issues when I tie down using the oem stuff, I think this will relieve a lot of it. It's mostly holding hooks and placement options, not that the hardware isn't decent on the truck stock.

Nah, I just went based off of what most videos and tutorials recommended. Just drained the passenger side. No need to remove the wheel. Was able to get a hose in there and loosen the 10mm
Total drained was just about half a bucket..

I almost bought the Reno ones, but got the MZS ones that are fairly similar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DHXVL2SM put them on last night.
WHAT A B*TCH one of the 4 bolts was. I had to soak w/ wd40, hammer in a T30 bit (which stripped the bolt), tried a removal bit, then a dremel cut a slot for a large flat screwdriver which didnt work, then ended up sawzall metal blade to cut the bolt head off. The damn threaded bolt base came out by hand w/ my fingers. go figure.

Installed the VLEDS tail conversion kit, WOW it lights up the cul-de-sac.
Install was very quick. maybe 20 minutes from unboxing to operational.
    PXL_20250228_033012938.jpg
unboxed, and bulbs conncted to VLEDS wire harness.

    PXL_20250228_040130498.jpg
left side done, you can see BOTh top and bottom light up as running lights, and both light up as brake lights.
    right side is stock.

    PXL_20250228_040959542.jpg
    REVERSE is bright, so bright.
this switchback is also the turn signal in Orange/Amber now and it too is very bright.

Might end up removing that tailgate brake light bar...

Is that bracket on the left side part of the SDHQ compressor mount or was that purchased separately (where the fitting and the switch are located)?
