When my Andrews' Leather McDaniel II crossdraw comes in, I'll give packing a full size 1911 a try. If the holster is a win, will order a second in some exotic leather like croc.

Check out C & H Precision (chpws.com). I haven't used them but they seem like a good option. I'm considering sending them my Shield slide to have it milled for a Holosun.

C&H as already mentioned does good work, and a second option is Maple Leaf FAs (they're out of TX not Canada ); both do really good work at a fair price point

Resized_20250310_072908.jpg 3.5" Walther PDP F-Series, soon to be replaced with a PDP F-Series Pro in 4" They're thick as bricks but for my arthritis infested hands + shooting "lefty", they're ideal for my use. The 5" Pro stays inside for HD duty. I've decided that my new F-Series Pro 4" is my everyday carry. The F-Series Pro joins my 3.5" F-Series and 5" the PDP Pro that serves as our nightstand weapon.

    CMikeB,

I'm considering a Walther PPQ M2 in .45....considering anyway. Money is tight and I'd need a custom holster made as holsters for the PPQ are rare.

Bersa Thunder .380 (9mm short) on most occasions. If the dress code makes it difficult to hide I drop a Ruger LCP in the pocket. At 83 my days of carrying a Ruger Magnum are over. Can't hold the recoil down enough to get a solid grouping anymore, arthritis in the thumbs precludes that. That light LCP is bad enough.

    Used to carry those OWB.

Now carry the ECO in my briefcase or IWB. Considering AIWB for it, if I can find a comfortable enough holster.

P365 most days. If I need to go smaller, I usually carry my Ruger LCP .380.

.327? Wow. I haven't heard anything about that one in, not sure how long.

How do you like it? What factory defensive loads are available for it?

Do you use it for daily carry?

Its my daily. I love the gun and the round, but then again I have a thing for obscure calibers. Its got very healthy ballistics, not as much recoil as a .357, and I get an extra round in the same size package.

All the big names have defensive stuff, it's just a little harder to come by. I carry critical defense.

Another cool thing is that it will shoot 4 other calibers too, which is nice for plinking.

    That's great!

I'm rather wedded to .45 ACP and .38 Special. Took both on my last interstate trip. Just packed the .45 though.

I carry obscure firearms and so, finding a holster for those is often a challenge. I may look that guy up, thank you.
