Steering Wheel Trim / Revesol leather steering wheel

Hello, I recently traded in my Tacoma for a 25 Tundra SR5 w/ SX and im loving it so far.

I purchased a Revesol wheel which I am extremely impressed with. W hen I attempted to remove the piano trim from the wheel I damaged it. I reached out to Revesol in an attempt to purchase more trim and I am waiting to hear back. I will also be heading to the dealer to see if the part can be acquired.

When I looked for the part online I could not find it. The steering wheel assembly diagram doesn't have a part number. I have attached a picture and circled the trim piece. The SX package has a matt trim piece vs the piano black.

I was hoping someone would have some experience with the matter. Thanks.

 

The steering wheel is not available separate from the steering wheel.

 

Yep...the only way to get those particular parts from Toyota is buying a new steering wheel assembly

these. The reviews look mostly poor due to not having full coverage. One review mentioned someone who did some minor trimming and got it to work well on a Tundra.

It’s just a stick on cover but better than nothing.

Hey everyone, I appreciate the responses. I just wanted to provide an update. I went to the dealer and they confirmed with corporate there is no way of buying the trim pieces. You have to purchase an entire wheel. Shame on Toyota for that.

I was able to find a used pair on silver pieces on eBay which I grabbed. I bought the Amazon overlays and the ones from yotaxpedition. I talked with Revesol and they went above and beyond to send me another pair of piano black pieces as well. Just a quick update. I received the used silver pieces and installed them with no issues. They fit fine but of course do not match the current interior. The SX package is all matte black and piano pieces. Its too bad I couldn't find matte ones..

I bought two overlays. One from Yotaxpedition which are quite bad to be honest. The overlay wraps around the entire bottom left of the wheel and is thicker so its just awkward. The reviews were great but after looking into the reviews further.. they seem to include ALL overlays and not just the wheel trim I bought. The Amazon ones are not perfect but will feel and look better with a little bit of bending around.

The Yotaxpedition ones are on the left of the wheel and the Amazon are on the right. They are just dry fitted which is why there is some visible silver. I dont think the Amazon ones will be perfect but the Yotaxpedition ones feel terrible in the hand.

I will be trying to remove the original matt piece from the original wheel. If they break then I will have to live with the silver and overlays. I purchased another set of overlays from Ebay which will come eventually so ill hold off sticking anything on if it comes to overlays.

Got the wheel installed looks and feels great. Much better than the cheap plastic.

Small issue with the leather peeling. Hoping revesol will make it right. I have reached out to them.
