I'd like to move my Parking Sensor On/Off switch above my right knee to below my climate controls in the center console area...is there an extension harness I can buy that makes this look less like a homemade radio? What about the traction control switch, also? Anything like this exist?

Does anyone know if anyone would make such a harness? Having my BSM disable switch lower, and in a "not used as much" location would be most functional for my lighting switch considerations...Anyone have any thoughts?

as far as I've seen no one makes them for those buttons, I have seen for speedo light dial. Just get the proper heat shrink butt connectors and a good crimper and cut the connectors off, add extra wire, and attach the connectors back on. Make sure to leave room on either side of your first cut for the butt connector.

Yeah, that's the likely easiest approach...I like being able to
"go back" if needed to help troubleshoot if an issue arises...granted, this isn't a terrible thing to figure out...good call, I'll just extend myself.

Thanks for the response! Makes sense to do myself and yes, cut once and measure twice, as they say, right?! I'll leave as long of extensions on the original harnesses to ensure I have room in case my hands of thumbs decide to work against my eyes! :spy:

    Thank you! :muscleflexing:

When I didn't want to do it myself and I re-read what I was asking, man, that's what a wet fart sounds like! Ha! I'm very capable of doing it.myself and if anything, it'll be bespoke to what I'm wanting. Thanks for everyone's suggestions, links and prodding! :boink:

I moved a bunches of switches around.

Ethernet cable works well. It’s similar gauge and all the wires are color coded inside. Just match them up on each side.
