Yeah...I'm laser focused on the Magnuson right now. It's been ordered and should be on it's way any day now.
Little does the Wife know thats just the beginning.....
Although She should know from my past considering my history.
I'm hoping she's forgotten about my 98 Tacoma with the TRD Blower and all the mods I sank into that truck....
The Tundra while a 4x4 is going to be geared more to a street truck with the ability to tow and go off road.
I'm mostly going to be pulling a trailer with my SxS and the camper as well as the boat. Not at the same time obviously.
And still get the adrenaline going when I stomp on the skinny pedal.
I'm pushing 60 so I figure this is going to be my last truck and told the Wife as much.
She was nice enough to tell me to get as wild as I want....
So you know I'm gonna push that as far as I can go!!!!!
I see Headers and more mods in my near future......
    God I Love My Wife!!!

And I owe it all to my Wife.
We've been married close to 30 years now.
And that She lets me pursue my quest for massive HP gains still amazes me to this day!!
And not only that She's paying for it since I retired!!!
Yeah...I'm the epitome of the Lucky Husband!!!

Well, that sounds like you have a good life buddy!! I'm 55 and retired as well. One thing that keeps me feeling as though I'm in my 30s though is eating healthy and going to the gym practically every day. I'm not a bodybuilder, I just enjoy working out. Eating healthy isn't always the case but as much as I can. Consistency is key.
Anyway, so you were talking about headers, a blower etc. Will you upgrade the MAF as well? You'd almost have to with a blower. What about the fuel pump? Gonna go with a higher flow one? I'm a HP junky too but I can't afford any of that. I'm also sort of an all in or nothing at all kind of guy. I'm either gonna do what you're doing or not at all. Right now, finances don't/won't allow for any of that.

I get you when it comes to going all out or not at all.
As I said the Wife will let me go crazy if I can justify the increased HP.
While She may bitch about it she'll let me go all out.
What I've noticed she really notices my smile when my Truck lights up when I stomp on it!!!
She appears to love the the extra HP as much as I do!!
As in when the the Tires start Smoking Her Grin Gets as big as mine does!!!
All I need to do is give Her a little encouragement and She's all about it!!!
As in She's as simple as the next guy.

My Genuine Cooling Transmission cooler arrived late yesterday afternoon. No purchases today but need to fill up my F250 diesel, might do that when I take my GSD to the orchard. About being retired, I am also, Military and LE, I need to get my right knee worked on and a cervical disc replaced before I can get back to the gym but I agree completely about diet and exercise, I may try a plant based diet for a few months. If you get a chance, look up "Dr Gooby and Dooby" on YT. he's a MIT trained neurosurgeon who talks about diet, exercise and the benefits.

I don't understand. I'm interested in everything you're gonna do to your Tundra and was asking what else are you going to do besides the blower and headers.

    I hear ya!

I didn't start "paying the piper" in body parts until my late 30's; snapped tib/fib, broken nose and titanium clavicle in three separate incidents .....:monocle: over 3yrs all on two wheels. (been riding dirt bikes since I was 6)

God knows what's in store with this new ride?

Yeah, there's a thread on it. It's out of a land cruiser. It's basically a brushless and little better version of our stock one. 110 bucks when on sale.

    Just getting started.
    So I guess I'll see.
Dont want to get to crazy and ruin the Toyota reliability.
I wont be opening the engine to do any mods for sure, unless something breaks internally and I'm going to be in there anyway..
Between the blower, exhaust and possibly some gears I'll see where I'm at and go from there.
I've seen the throttle body device but dont know much about it at this point.
There's only so many bolt on parts that are really going to help you.

Didn't realize they sell these things, especially at Costco. Seen this one at a local hardware store and the price had me baffled…$2,895.

I’m not sure what size this one is. The one I got is small, which runs about $2000. Costco’s original price was $1599. Right now they have them for $999.97
