    A someone with both type vehicles

    I am indifferent to ac controls

    once I step into the Tesla, it turns on all my setting. I use the scroll wheel to set temp with my left thumb

    the tundra? I have to reach down and turn a knob


    No big deal


    I suspect Subaru did this to maximize satisfaction scores.


    And. Only hippies with kayaks drive Subarus

    Topic: cabin noise

    Daughter came home for weekend

    I got to drive the Highlander back from the lake house

    the tundra is not a very quiet vehicle for a variety of reasons

    the Highlander is much quieter and smoother

    the model x is super quiet. And way smoother than the Highlander

    In cabin noise reduction-Amazing tech

    it amazing how easy it is to have a conversation in the Mx.


    1020hp and all you hear is tire noise

    The tundra has the auto brights, and they work quite well.

    I am eager to see how Tesla takes it to the next level

    Not personally but my BIL got the finger from a Karen in traffic, he wasn't doing anything.

    He also had a truck slowly swerve at him on a straight stretch, oncoming traffic. It could of been an accident but he felt it was intentional

    3000+ mile review model y LR falken 255/45/20 AT trail tires on induction wheels, minimal road noise, still a bit bumpy but not as much as the oem goodyears, range impact with 99% charge I can get over 200 miles down to single digits averaging about 300wh/mi. For $219 a tire and more tread life great buy so far a bit heavier but for my daily commuter it meets my needs.

    I learned something today...

    I inquired on the new Lucid Gravity.

    they called me back. nice folks.

    I asked about charging.

    it will have the NACS plug & the on-board software to talk to the Tesla network.

    I did not know that was a thing.

    they can use most Tesla superchargers.

    I guess I never realized Tesla had that capability...I thought you had to use an adapter + app.


    and...I think it's awesome Tesla helps the others succeed.
