Just prior to this range session I also finally got around to installing the the Accuracy International butt stock hinge to turn it into a folder. I had the entire rifle apart. Then put it back together again after carefully applying Vibratite VC3 or Loctite to all fasteners that aren’t intended to be used regularly like the barrel lock ring screw, or the stock adjustment screws.

The rifle and optic required no sight adjustments whatsoever to shoot the pictured groups after total disassembly and reassembly.

How do you like the Garmin? I've been using a LabRadar for a long time but it's very bulky & sometimes finicky. The size of the Garmin is very tempting.

So far I like it really well. Perfect alignment isn’t critical to picking up shots. I’ve used it on the included tripod, and an Area 419 ARCA mount that puts it in perfect alignment with the rifle.

The Garmin app is decent enough.

The size is very attractive, easily fits in a range bag.

My father gave me a hell of a present today; a converted Saiga AK with 15 mags and nearly 3k rounds of ammo. He said he never shot it and had no plans to use it and asked if I wanted it. Holy crap....

My kids are licking their chops thinking I'm going to do that. All I hear is "you're not going to use them".

Well... my dad is 83 now and about the only thing he shoots any longer is rimfire.
