    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Spent the last couple of evenings doing some wrapping...
In an effort to save a little $$ and give me another DIY to tackle, I decided to try and wrap the mirror caps and hood bulge to match my recent Pro Grille. The roll of wrap I bought was listed as MGM, and out of the box, it looks really close to color-match.
I went out in the dark to put the cap and bulge on, using a head light. Tomorrow's sunlight will tell the real story....

    IMG_8597.jpg IMG_8600.jpg

Mail-man dropped off this little gem today as well. This picture came out way darker than the color in person. Since I was wrapping, I added a little MGM wrap and cut out a flag design. The lighter color in the second pic is the actual color of the hitch cover.

I got mine from ColorWrapture. It's Oracal brand vinyl. Another member on here had his bumper caps wrapped in the same product, which was what pushed me to buy it. I was very impressed with the vinyl!! Lays very well, super smooth and at the edges with a little heat, it naturally just lays down...no back pull. Again, the daylight's going to tell the story. If the color's way off, I won't keep it on there.

Just as FYI/warning...I wasn't impressed with ColorWrapture's CS and shipping times. So if you order from them, you might ought to check with them on product availability and lead time/back orders.
    https://www.colorwrapture.com/

    There's also, www.colormatchwrap.com.
They'll supposedly match vehicle color. They've got some of the Toyota Quicksand on their site that looks pretty good. They're quite a bit more expensive than ColorWrapture.

I too, just like you, was tired of the sea of plastic that was my center console, not to mention the blinding cupholder bezel, well I fixed the bezel a couple days ago, and today my last part came in.

Yup from a platinum to my pro, that coupled together with some real metal accents I have gone from this....

LED interior lights, Baja Designs foglights, Baja Designs S8 hood bulge light bar, LED bed lights, Baja Designs S8 amber bar in bumper on Rago Fab mounts, AMP Research bedstep, Switch Pros sp-9100, tinted door windows
Got it washed and interior detailed. Two weeks and 2700 miles of Baja roads, dust, and living out of it took it's toll. Even the bed was a mess and it's Line X'ed.

One thing I found out through use is the location of the switch for my lightbar. Utilizing a stock style switch on the left side of the wheel (previously a vacant spot) and down low sure looks cool but it's not very convenient for constantly turning it on and off. So I've decided on getting a Switch Pros button set up that's fit in the card holder of the center console and an S-Pod for a cleaner look and future lighting. My Baja Designs 40" bar is amazing, but once you're in the silt or dust, you're blind. I'll eventually get a 30" bar in amber and mount it in the bumper for that reason alone. Probably go amber on my BD fogs too.

It'll be better as I drive with my left hand on the wheel at all times.

    Here's exactly what I bought.
    image.jpg

Here's a couple pics from today.
I can tell the slightest of difference in certain light angles...where the wrap seems to not have as much of the bronze flake in it, but at those same angles, the surround on the Pro grille looked darker than the rest of the front.
Another thought I had...While the vinyl has a gloss coating, it's not the same as the clear coat on the truck. So I think with a little wax/detailer, it may help it blend more.
All said, after Thanksgiving lunch I had 3-4 family members come out and look at the truck an I asked them to tell me what was wrapped. No one could guess and no one could tell the difference in colors once I told them. For now, I'm leaving it.
