Help! I can’t connect my WCS. I have a 2024 Tundra and the WCS Toyota Accessory. The instructions say to go to the camera view and click on “Auxiliary” to start the pairing. Mine does not show “Auxiliary” and no idea how to do it.

I sent Toyota Corporate a message yesterday but wondering if anyone else has this problem or successfully hooked yours up? Thanks in advance.

Video from Toyota that’s shows install. At 1:33 in it shows the “Aux” that is not on my screen. https://youtu.be/qBRznQfN8jo?si=IoAVEmeVzlTp-8lu

WTF, they released a limited edition 1794. Now I gotta find out what they have different on the LE that the regular 1794 didn't get.

On the note with OP, that sucks that you don't have the required setup to take advantage of the wireless camera. You'd think having the highest trim (Capstone) would get all of the bells and whistles to be able to have this done.

Yeah, just now noticed that the OP referenced a Sequoia, so not surprising that they didn't release it on the Tundra at the same time. Thanks for the confirmation and good looking out.

I'll try to add to the confusion... Did the dealer sell the WCS as part of the deal or did you just walk up to the parts counter and ask for it and no one asked you what vehicle it was for? I guess my point is that it seems like the dealer/salesperson/parts should have known it wouldn't work.

Did you buy the parts for it or was you told your truck already had it?

I don't think you meant to quote me. @CT303, I think this question is for you.

You are correct. I thought I clicked the quote from the OP 1st post. Thanks for correcting.

Weird. Doesn't show up on my end in your original post. Maybe you had a delayed "Multi-quote" issue. Who knows. Either way, hopefully, OP gets the answers they need and possibly a refund, lol.

Thanks all for the post. Couple points:
    • I do not have three antennas. (See Photo).
    • My screen does not have Aux option (See photo).
    • I bought the most expensive Tundra. Capstone with every option. Interesting that any lower model would have the option and this would not. Possible, but strange.
    • I have never seen a Tundra with three antennas. Not saying it doesn’t exist, just never seen it.
    • On Toyotas website, under Tundra it had this as a factory option accessory. (See Photo)
    • I tried to order from my local dealer and they said it was in their system but couldn’t order it.
    • I went to eBay and bought a new one. So yes, my fault. This is how I got it. Seller said it came with his car. I just assumed I could buy a Toyota Accessory without having to worry it worked with a Toyota.
    • Can we add these antennas later I wonder? I just bought the Truck last month 2/2024!
I haven’t heard back from Toyota yet, but when I do I will keep everyone posted. They sent a generic “we are busy” email today. Thanks for all the comments.

I was wondering if he bought it before he knew it wouldn't work on his vehicle too. That WCS is going to be bouncing around eBay for years to come and in a few weeks there will be a new thread here asking for help on getting it to work....

Did I miss a previous thread about this? Didn’t think buying a used Toyota accessory was a no no.

I tried to order this part before I looked for a used one. Dealer couldn’t order it but they tried. No reason from Toyota why they couldn’t.

Posting like I promised earlier. Heard from Toyota today. BIG help….NOT. They said go to the dealer which I already did. This is the only place I got real answers. Thanks Tundras.com community!

No other thread that I'm aware of. Probably poor wording on my part while trying to inject a little humor into the situation. The "he" I was referring to was the person you bought it from. I was thinking he may have bought it and then found out afterwards that it wouldn't work just like your situation. Apologies for making it sound like you did anything wrong.

So… if this isn’t available to put onto my 23, anyone have a good aftermarket one? Not again either throwing a screen up on a bullet mount, or phone for when towing…

FWIW, I had the dealer fix the backup lines not showing up issue today. While in his laptop screens he said he noticed the ability to add the Wireless Camera for towing. He tried adding it (even though I don't have it) and it generated a code so he left if off.

This makes me think my 2024 Platinum Sequoia has the ability to use the camera. He said to come back if I get the camera and he will activate the vehicle to use it. Weirdly, I see it listed for either $850 or $80. I don't know the difference between the two.

Well, I ordered the PT233-0C237-AA for about $65 and what showed up is NOT the camera but about $5 worth of 12v adapter plugs.

No idea what part is actually required to get a working backup camera.
