    i have an 00 access cab v8 4x4 in need of a frame. i found an 00 access cab v8 2wd frame. is it a direct swap or will fabrication be required?

    Yeah, sadly the coating is lipstick on a pig. The steel continues to rot underneath. Bummer. But also utter bullshit coating was allowed as a “remedy”.

    2000 Tundra 4wd AC, 2004 Tundra AC 2wd to 4wd conversion ABS delete
    lots of dents
    I'm pretty sure the 2wd and 4wd frames are exactly the same. Your main problem will be removing all of your rusty components from your 4x4 onto the 2wd frame...unless the 2wd frame still has most of the parts still on it.
