    Hi Folks,

Everyone calls me by my last name, which is Basco. I currently own a 2019 VW GTI, and a 1991 BMW 318is. My wife drives a 2019 Subaru WRX. Were expecting our first child this Decemeber which means I have been full throttle with home improvement projects for the past few months. It was time that I bought my first truck. I am a car enthusiast through and through and have probably owned 30+ plus cars but never a truck. My first "big build" was a 1991 Toyota MR2 with a 3ZVFE swapped in from Lexus ES300 so I am no stranger to Toyotas.

I bought this car from ther brother in law of the original owner just this past weekend. I havent even gotten a chance to properly clean it yet! He didnt really know much about it but based on what I pulled from the Carfax after purchasing, his story checks out. This truck has been a PNW car its whole life. On paper its a 2002 Tundra SR5 2WD with 96610 miles. Had the 90k mile service performed back in 2016. I am guessing all this Ivan Stewart stuff is all dealer add-ons? The original owner also seems to have gone to town at Cartoys. The truck has a really well done aftermarket sunroof, 2 DVD player screens, one with built in navigation from back in 2005, MB Quarts speakers, tweets, mids, and woofer, aftermarket rain sensing wipers, aftermarket heated driver seat, and a whole bunch of other switches with purposes I havent discovered yet.

So what makes this truck an Ivan Stewart edition? I see a TRD Supercharger, grill, exhaust, LSD, wheels, gauges, front bumper and interior? The last 3 items I am not so sure about.

I am usually pretty active on all the forums I am a part of, so I look forward to learning more about my new truck and all of you.

    -Basco

Ivan Stewart was an off road racing badass winner, so obviously he paired with Toyota to make limited edition supercharged tundras.

    Enjoy your rare find.

I haven’t seen an Ivan Stewart edition in years. I’m a little jealous - they were a cool limited run. Welcome to the forum!

There are clones put there, but a full on IS clone is expensive to build.

    Differences I know of are:
    Interior has different skinned seats
Interior has different gauge cluster colors
Exterior has a different plastic bumper cover, grille, fender flares, wheels
I believe they only came in white/black/silver(ish)/red
I'm not sure if they were all super charged but I think they were. They were much like a fully loaded limited with exclusive parts added on. I believe LSD was part of this package as well.

The two guys I know of who know more than anybody on the subject are JBToy from TS and TT forums (RIP, he passed about 2 years ago) and JJJackies from TS forum. I have a feeling JJJackies might lurk around still.

Thats a sweet truck. Im a fellow PNWer over in the Portland area. Seems like I can relate to you in a few ways - ive also owned over 30 cars (42 to be exact) but have not been as active recently in modding cars. Ive turned more into a practical person. Just had my first child in February and wife gave me the surprise green light to buy my dream truck (originally I was at least 5 years away). Anyways enough about me. Enjoy that truck. Curious to know what you paid for it.

I realized the other night that one of the switches on the dash changes the indiglow(?) gauges from blue to green. I am now guessing these arent actually TRD gauges but just have the sticker on them. Probably another Cartoys special. Hopefully someone more knowledgable than me can chime in. The truck also came with Altezza taillights from Cartoys which I have just replaced with OEMs.

The picture is reversed because it just didn't look right going the other way. That is actually the drivers side.

Thanks for the welcome guys. When I looked up my VIN, it says my truck is a SR5. Does anyone know if the Ivan Stewart trucks have their own vin trim level? If mine is only a clone, its a really good one because it has everything in the TRD catalog.
This past weekend I painted the mesh on my TRD grill black, and hit my headlights with Mothers powerball and plastic polish. Hikari brand LED bulbs in the headlights. I hope to do a projector retrofit someday. Im debating if I want to do LED or yellow bulbs in the fog lights.

The grill is standard for Ivan Stewart edition I lost mine in early 2010 (my father is the original owner). It was park outside the house a drunk drive reverse into it causing the front bumper to be destroyed and had to install a standard bumper afterwards. I’ve been looking for a supercharger for my truck now I know it’s possible to install one.

in the back you see my new toy (2019 mustang 5.0 Manual)
