Anyone have a good source/part number to replace this billet set up to factory? Truck is limited. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you needed to cut up the old grill in places to allow for mounting the type that you have. I could be wrong and I'm sure someone here will no more than me . . . but I kind of remember thinking to myself, "That sucks you can't just unbolt the stock griil and replace it with that one". Same with the lower area I think. Again, I could be wrong but I think that's what turned me away from getting one of those. It's probably do-able . . . just more involved to sorta 're-engineer' it. Keep us posted & good luck. PS Why don't you like it? Looks?... or ???? I've always thoughts those looked cool.

@HBTundra is spot on. You'll need a whole new grille, and then you'll probably need a new bumper cover since they cut out the plastic web to add the billlet insert.

Thanks for the insight, hoping that’s not the case! But if it is sounds like a good project. I just like the factory look better. Never been into that billet look.

Got it thank you. Any idea of all the parts needed specifically?

If you want the stock look you'll just need to order up one for a double cab. 04-06 will do, access cab are different and won't fit. Paint will get pricey unfortunately

You could sell your old one a recoup some $. Take care in removal.

You might not need a bumper if the lower billet is bolted or tie-rapped in place. Check it to see if the honeycomb is still intact...

eBay grills for your 05 start at $45 shipped, and it looks like you can get more than that for your old one.
