06 Toyota Sequoia ECU/IG 10 amp fuse

    My 06 Toyota Sequoia blows the 10 amp ECU/IG fuse almost every time I crank it. If I disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for long enough, I will be able to drive it for about a day and then it will start blowing the 10 amp fuse again. Got a multimeter and hooked it up to the spot where this 10 amp fuse goes and proceeded to unhook everything that was wired into this fuse. I unhooked the gauge cluster, the ECU immobilizer, the radio, the air conditioning, all power outlets, back radio, the ECU for the four-wheel-drive, the main ECU behind the glove box, the stability tilt sensor, the heated seats, power mirrors, the anti-fog, rearview mirror, the sunroof, information display, and I’ve even unhooked the alternator. I have also checked the ground wires that are inside the engine compartment. I have also checked the wires going in and out of the firewall. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong with this thing. someone please help

    Definitely have a challenge considering all the circuits that fuse protects. You may have checked it but not listed is trailer towing, which could be a culprit.

    Whether it's a Tundra or Sequoia, one of the main culprits with issues such as this is the Integration Control Panel. It is part of and on the back side of the Cabin fuse panel. Water leak from windshield, A-pillar, etc....can work it's way into that panel and cause havoc.

    These pics may not help but the 5 connectors noted on the Instrument Panel J/B are the only outputs of the 10A ECU-IG fuse. Would unplugging each one of those 5 connectors individually and checking for a short to ground be beneficial ?
    Hard to say....this is cluster.
